Yeah, not going to spend that amount of ec and/or money on eggs when the original post says you can buy the eggs at the end for 5ec each. It's a rip off at this point to say they'd be 5ec and then include them with things that cost way more.
And adding this in, even with the ECS added in that’s roughly $3 worth of “free” ECS (compared to just buying 200 for $20 my currency) and not really a deal or worth it in my eyes when I could just buy the ECS and get the reward bonuses and club boxes. I’ll spend the 5 ECS on each egg at this point 😆.

You are 100% correct that ultimatly the majority of our grievances should be directed at the ATA overlords and not the team as a whole. A lot of them are just worker bee's genuinely investing in a game they put lots of work and love into while having to balance the demands from higher up the chain. Unfortunatly we don't have the names and emails of the overlords for us to send our thoughts directly. I can only address ATA as the entity for my displeasure. (Slide me those deets and I promise a novel of a strongly worded email for your overlords 👀) And as pissed as I am at a whole lot of things that have been happening in this game, including the feedback that gets disregarded constantly and the obvious cash grabs all around, myself and others are clearly advocating because we too have love for this game as a space to be, and want it to be the best version of itself. I heard rumor a while ago that ATA got bought out a few years back. I have no information to point to to back up those rumors, but I constantly wonder on the timeline of that (if it has any validity) in comparison to the timeline of how this game has slid to ignoring the voice of its playerbase and focusing on revenue and profits instead.

Hi its me, wearing the very avi I had the most criticism for. And you're right! There's a lot of power in where and when people spend their money. I didn't spend a cent of my IRL money to get this avi, and in fact have greatly reduced my spending on this game. I have chosen to in game trade for (no cash spent) or miss out on a lot of content simply because I don't agree with the principal behind the decision of how something is marketed and rolled out. ATA knows exactly how to weaponize FOMO into profits. It is disgusting and underhanded. People in the community have even tried to incite a boycott in the past! It was simple, one day of no spending in protest. It was gaining big traction and ATA released very desired but paid for content right on or before the agreed upon day. It caused many people to waiver and not stick to their convictions. It really went to show that we can't control how others spend their money, and ultimatly the community at large will still have their big spenders who dgaf. But just because other people are doing it doesnt mean we too have to open our wallets. We can still take an individual stand on how, where, and when we spend our money. Ultimatly we're all playing this game still because there is something here about it we still enjoy and want to support. Balancing that support with speaking up for the things that aren't right and needs fixing isnt an easy line to walk, but we still dare to try.
