    Short description about the piece:
Traditionally, rangoli represents happiness, prosperity, and brings good luck. It is also intended to welcome Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and good luck.

In the piece, the colorful rangoli is made to imitate a lotus flower, which is a flower that their Goddess Lakshmi is pictured sitting on top of. I also used a Bengal tiger, which is the national animal of India and is known for its magnificence, strength, beauty, and power. The expression of the tiger and the spread of colours symbolizes the joy of celebrating India’s holi festival.

Overall, I had fun making this piece and forming its concept. 🤍

  13. Hi! I think I got stiffneck making this for two days 😆😅. It was a lot fun though! I used small jewel beads for this art and glued them one by one. I hope you like the colors. Good luck to the participants! 😊

I wanted to show not only what a Rangoli is, but also to represent the spirit of it, the passion each Rangoli artist put in it’s colorful art. How in that moment there’s no difference but the union of a festival. I enjoyed so much doing this illustration <3
Wishing all of the participants lots of luck 🍀

I wanted to try it with epoxy. On the front, i used real flowers and beads for the letters, for the background i used gold as it has beautiful meanings. Finally i tried the rangoli on the back side. I waited 24 hours for each layer to dry. I tried this technique for the first time. If i didn't get it right, please don't take it as disrespectful to your culture🙏🏻 Good luck to the participants! 😊 HAPPY HOLI ! 💖

since peacocks are my favourite to draw in a rangoli design 🤭. The issue is that I kind of merged the layers together so that my app doesn't run slow and when i tried to seperate them it didn't work out ( that's one issue with Ibis paint if you exit the page it doesn't let you undo , neither does it let you undo after an extent so...) . I used glitter textures to make it more unique and i hope this design is loved by y'all <3
