Chapter 31: Behind The Back "Oh my gosh!" Michelle yelled angrily as she drove down the highway, "ever since that fricking attack Aly has turned into the biggest hoe ever! Did you see that kiss with Zane in the parking lot?! She looked like she was going to suck the life out of him!" Gabby quickly sighed and glared at Michelle. "Will you stop whining? Damn, I love you sis, but seriously shut the hell up. You sound like a jealous, ignorant, loser!" Gabby yelled loudly. Michelle quickly slammed on the brakes of her car at a red light, and gave Gabby her death glare. Gabby quickly sat back in the seat and crossed her arms. "Sorry to burst your bubble, but ZANE kissed HER. Don't call her a hoe, if you like someone you like someone. Why can't you fricking be happy for Aly for one single moment of your puny life?!" Gabby quickly stated angrily. "Are you being serious you bitch?! Aly kissing Zane is like kissing her brother. We are all family and shouldn't date, or for that matter have any romantic relationship..." Michelle added angrily. "I personally don't find anything wrong with it. If you love someone you love someone..." Gabby quickly mumbled. Michelle quickly pounded the steering wheel and began yelling. "She doesn't love Zane! She changes her damn mind every five minutes on who she likes! It's wrong, and isn't fair for the guys falling under spell!" Michelle yelled louder and louder. Gabby quickly put her hands over her ears and mumbled, "Damn! Shut the fuck up. Your whining voice is like nails on a chalk board. You are jealous of her Michelle. Get the hell over it!" Michelle quickly pulled over by the mall and turned to Gabby. "Get the hell out of my car you bitch... I'm so done with you. I don't care if you are my damn sister, i'm so over you" Michelle wispered with tears in her eyes. "B-but..." Gabby stampered suddenly as she tried reasoning with Michelle. Michelle quickly clutched her steering wheel. "GET. OUT. OF. MY. DAMN. CAR!!!" Michelle screeched out. Gabby quickly jumped out of the car, and Michelle sped away, leaving Gabby all alone.
Chapter 32: Butterflies Gabby quickly pulled out her iPhone and began walking towards the mall. She quickly sighed and went to her contacts. Gabby- Charlie... I got kicked out of Michelle's car. I'm stuck at the mall. Do you think you can come pick me up? She quickly began walking down the street towards the mall and hugged her body. "Dammit Charlie text me back..." Gabby mumbled as she sighed once again. She suddenly heard a screeching behind her and she quickly turned around. Charlie quickly stood up out of the back of the jeep and flashed a huge smile at Gabby. "Come over here and get in the car! We are going shopping!" Charlie yelled quickly. Gabby quickly smiled and walked towards the jeep. She finally reached it and Charlie quickly grabbed Gabby's hand and helped pull her up in the jeep. As her and Charlie's hands touched, Gabby felt butterflies flying in her stomach. "You ok?" Charlie asked sweetly as the jeep began driving once again. "Yea I'm ok... Just ready to shop!" Gabby said cheerfully as she smiled at Charlie. "That's the spirit!" Charlie yelled as he rested his on Gabby's shoulder. Gabby smiled to herself and looked away from everyone. Feelings officially sucked in The Family.
Chapter 33: Satisfied "Three dresses, two pairs of pants, five shirts, and three pairs of shoes! This was an epic shopping day guys!" Aly yelled cheerfully as she held her shopping bags in the air. Zane, Charlie, Calum and Gabby laughed and agreed cheerfully as they walked past the closing stores. "So you ready for the weekend?" Zane asked calmly as Aly and him walked ahead of everyone. "Yea! Now that we are public we should go do fun things..." Aly quickly answered. She quickly moved in front of him and gasped, "let's go ice skating and maybe go see a movie!" Aly stated happily. Zane quickly smiled and wrapped his arm around her waist. "That sounds great..." Zane wispered into her ear. The rest of the group finally passed them and began talking about the weekend. Aly quickly glanced to her left and saw black figured models standing in all the stores to her left. More black figured man walked through the mall and Aly shrugged. I guess black is the new winter colour... Aly thought to herself. She quickly saw shiny objects move from the models coats and Aly caught her breath. The objects aimed for her and the group and Aly quickly turned to the group. "GET DOWN!!!" Aly yelled as she pulled Zane down. Shots began firing and a bullet passed past Zane and Aly's face. Charlie quickly grabbed Gabby and pulled her to the ground as more bullets flew through the air. Calum and Jake quickly fell to the floor screaming as windows shattered all around everyone. Store owners and shoppers quickly ran away and all Aly could here were screams all around her.
Chapter 33: Open Fire Aly quickly looked over to Zane and saw that his side was bleeding. She quickly dragged him under one of the fallen mall lounge tables and ran towards the others. "GET DOWN!" Jake yelled as he grabbed Aly. More bullets flew past them and Aly and Jake quickly crawled behind some plants. "Who are these people?!" Jake yelled as he grabbed at his bleeding leg. Calum quickly crawled to them and yelled in pain as he grabbed his chest. Calum's shirt was blood soaked and Aly glanced past the plants. "WHO ARE THEY ALY?!?!" Jake and Calum yelled quickly. "People trying to kill us obviously!" Aly yelled quickly as she began crawling towards Zane. "Stay here! I will not let you guys die!" Aly finally reached Zane and grabbed his hand. Zane tried to gulp out a few words but Aly stopped him. "Save your breath..." Aly wispered. She quickly kissed his lips and stood up. The black figured men were moving towards them and Aly clenched her fist. One man finally reached her and raised his gun. Aly quickly ducked and kicked his knee in. The man quickly dropped the gun and fell to the ground, screaming in pain at his broken leg. Aly quickly grabbed the gun and shot the man in the leg. She aimed the gun for more men and shot with accurcy for their legs and arms. She was quickly grabbed from behind and a man grabbed her face. Aly quickly kicked and punched the man and he fell to the ground. Charlie quickly sprinted past her and jumped on one of the guys and began punching his face. The men began running away and Aly screamed in peer rage. She began running towards the figured men but Charlie quickly held her back. "Let me go!" Aly yelled loudly. Police sirens quickly filled the mall and more gun shots echoed through the mall. "You're bleeding!" Charlie yelled over the noise. Aly quickly glanced down and saw her shirt soaked in blood, and Charlie began dragging her behind an empty table. Aly heard policemen moving closer and closer. The pain was just too much for her, and she slowly closed her eyes and everything suddenly went black.
Chapter 34: Hospital... AGAIN Aly slowly opened her eyes and looked up to a shadowy figure. "nooooooo" Aly mumbled as she smiled softly. Doctor Salvatore quickly chuckled and looked at her papers. "You know... If you keep showing up at the hospital I'm going to think your in love with me!" Doctor Salvatore said kinddingly. Aly slowly glanced to her left and saw Zane in the bed next to her and Charlie in the next. "Ah, but that is impossible... I think I love someone else" Aly answered as she glanced and smiled at the sleeping peacfully Zane. Doctor Salvatore quickly looked towards Zane and nodded. "He's definately a keeper!" Doctor Salvatore mumbled sweetly. Aly quickly gasped and sat up, but Doctor Salvatore quickly pushed her back on the bed. "You're ribs are delicate from being shot, so don't sit up" he said calmly. Aly quickly brought her voice to a wisper, "you play for the other team?!" Doctor Salvatore quickly nodded and began cracking up. "Girls are just too much drama! Yea I think some girls are hot, but men are mmmm... Better" Doctor Salvatore answered calmly. Aly quickly smiled an looked into his piercing green eyes. "Well I'm happy for you! If you ever need a man I'll find one for you..." Aly quickly said as Doctor Salvatore glanced over at Zane. "But you are not getting your hands on my man mister... Stick to your age haha! I'll find you some man around your 28 age, ok? No touching Zane" Aly stated demandingly. Zane's eyes quickly shot open. "Who's going to touch me, wah?!" Zane asked quickly as he stared at Aly. Doctor Salvatore and Aly quickly glanced at each other and busted out laughing. "Good morning sunshine!" Doctor Salvatore stated kiddingly towards Zane. Zane quickly laughed as Aly quickly reached up and punched his shoulder softly. Doctor Salvatore quickly looked at his pager, "aw, as much as I love talking to people ten years younger than me, duty calls! All of you are fine and won't die yet... Charlie and Gabby are getting coffee and will be up here soon. I'll give you all more details later. Be back soon!" Doctor Salvatore quickly waved an walked out of the hospital room.
Chapter 35: No Flipping Way! "So you seriously don't remember anything?" Charlie asked seriously. Zane slowly nodded and moaned in pain as he grabbed his side. "No flipping way! Nothing?!" Gabby asked quickly. "Nada..." Zane answered as he shook his head. Charlie quickly paced around the room and thought to himself. "What even happened? I just woke up here..." Zane mumbled softly. "Aly saved our butts. That's what happened!" Charlie yelled cheerfully as he pointed at Aly. "No I didn't... I didn't save you, don't say that. It was just luck" Aly calmly said as she laid her head on her hospital pillow. "Aly! The police said you single handingly brought down eleven different men that were going after us! If you didn't, who knows what could have happened to us..." Jake stated angrily as he sat up in his hospital bed. "I was just protecting the ones I love... If I didn't we possibly wouldn't be here" Aly wispered softly as she glanced at Zane. "I think the question is..." Calum mumbled as he raised his hospital bed, "...why did it all happen in the first place?" Charlie quickly sighed and signaled Gabby to close the door. Gabby quickly closed the door and closed the blinds and sat down in the chair next to Charlie. "Not now..." Aly mumbled as she closed her eyes. "What are you guys talking about?" Jake asked quickly as he scanned his eyes over everyone's worried expression. "Look, we have secrets that you guys have happened to enter. When we are able to leave the hospital we need to all meet up at our house... We have explaining to do" Charlie answered calmly.
Chapter 36: Love It was around 3 a.m and Aly slowly crawled out of bed. It had been five days since the attack and she felt like she was back to normal once again. She slowly tiptoed to Zanes bed and pulled the cover sheet around the bed so no one could see them. Zane slowly opened his eyes as Aly sat on the bed. "Mmmm..." Zane moaned as he blinked quickly. Aly slowly grabbed his cold hand and kissed it calmly. "How are you feeling?" Aly wispered softly as she looked into his beautiful eyes. "Better... Now that you are here" Zane wispered as he smiled warmly at Aly. "Everyone is almost better... We can leave this place soon" Aly said as she ran her hand over Zane's scar from the bullet. "I don't know if I want to leave... I feel so safe here. Whenever we aren't here, you or someone else is getting injured. I can't stand thinking about you being gone from my life..." Zane wispered as he grabbed Aly and pulled her closer to him. She slowly laid her head next to his face and rested her hand on his chest. "Why are you so intent on leaving the hospital always Aly?" Zane wispered as he stared at the ceiling. "I just can't help but think my time will come sooner than it should... I feel like I should live my life while I can Zane" Aly mumbled as she closed her eyes slowly. "Stay positive Aly... I won't let you die" Zane wispered as he brushed her cheek. "We will always be together..." Zane quickly turned on his non injured side and grabbed Aly's hands. Aly slowly kissed his lower lip and held the kiss until Zane's lips fell from hers. She calmly opened her blue eyes and saw Zane fast asleep, looking so peaceful. She slowly crawled out of his bed and crept out of the room and began touring the many halls of the hospital.
