You're One of Us

A month went by and everything seemed to have come back to normal for Aly. Friendships came to be again, relationships got even more steamy, and everyone soon believed that Aly's mental health was finally stable.

Aly sat in the restroom breathing in and out slowly. She leaned her head towards the floor and a tear suddeny fell from her face. Paranoia had been eating her alive for the past month. Always thinking of the bad times, always thinking of what was to come, and always thinking if the ones she loved would get hurt because of her.

The other family members were apparently almost like her, so was all this really her fault, or all of theirs? Every second of the day she constantly looked behind her shoulder, and she always jumped when she heard snaps or sounds like guns going off. If she saw any goth kids, or anyone in pure black, she became absolutely terrified. Honestly, she was a living wreck. No one knew that though... Absolutely no one.

Everyone thought she was a smiling, bubbly, cute, amazing girl, but on the inside she wished whatever was coming would come already. She loved everyone around her, but at moments like this she wished she could just be gone and everyone else would be safe.

Aly slowly bolted her head up as she heard her name called out in the empty hallway of the cafeteria. "Get outta there! You must be starving!" Calum yelled loudly. Aly quickly sighed and wiped her eyes.

"I'm busy Calum!" Aly yelled back as she sat up.

"Too busy to hang out with a guy like me, huh?" Calum asked quickly as she heard his footsteps enter the bathroom. Aly quickly groaned and opened the stall. "Let's go for a walk like the good ol' times..." Calum softly said as he grabbed Aly's arm and handed her an apple, "eat this!"

 

Hey everyone, I am now in school once again (sadly) I will try to update but it will be hard!

 

"So how have you been this month?" Calum asked as they stumbled through the long trail. Aly quickly shrugged and stretched her arms out calmly...
"Never been better..." Aly mumbled as she kicked the dirt.

"Lies..." Calum said as he spun around on his heel. Aly quickly stared at him wide eyed.

"Why would you say that?" Aly asked as she stopped suddenly. Calum quickly grabbed Aly and brought him closer to him. She quickly struggled and jumped as he grabbed her arms harder.

"Because..." he said as he grabbed her harder, "if you are fine, you wouldn't be so scared right now. The normal Aly would just calmly talk and smile at me like she always does. Face it Aly, you aren't fine. You're scared out of your mind of everything going on. Does Zane even know about this?" Aly quickly grew red and pushed Calum away.

"You know I don't like anyone besides Zane touching me Calum!" Aly yelled as she began walking away. She quickly was pulled back by the hood of her jacket and fell onto Calum's chest. He quickly knelt down to her ear and whispered,"you need to tell Zane... I'm worried about you okay? I'm going to tell him what's going on if you don't tell him."

Aly quickly elbowed him in the ribs and he grabbed onto her. "NO! Get off of me! Are you fricking drunk or something?!" Aly yelled as she tried getting away from him. Footsteps quickly came near them and Aly heard Zane's voice yelling. He quickly pushed Calum to the dirt covered ground and punched him in the face, hard. He quickly stood over Calum's bleeding face and pointed at Aly.

"Touch her EVER again... And I WILL kill you!" Zane quickly yelled. Aly quickly grabbed Zane's hand and quickly led him to another empty trail.

 

"Aly, Aly..." Zane said as he chased after her. "Aly!!!" Zane yelled as he grabbed her. She quickly spun around and fell into his jacket. She slowly stared at his chest and closed her eyes as she breathed hard. "What's going on?" Zane whispered as he lightly grabbed her hair.

"Zane! I. Don't. Know!" Aly yelled into his chest as she wrapped her arms around his body. "I'm not okay. I'm not Zane, and I can't stand this. Every second I feel like I'm being watched and i'm about to just vanish into thin air. I can't think Zane, I can't stand this!" Aly whispered as she backed away and held her head in her hands.

Zane took a step foward and held out his hands. "Aly, you NEED to see someone. I can't stand seeing you like this" Zane whispered as he grabbed her hands.

"They wouldn't understand... No one would" Aly whispered as she dropped her hand and began walking to the school.

 

Gabby slowly walked out of the restroom stall and looked at herself in the mirror. She quickly smiled and pulled out her blue and black makeup bag. "Agh, must fix this boring face!" Gabby mumbled as she pulled out her mascara. She finally finished applying it, and threw it back in the bag. She quickly looked up and saw that Zoey and Michelle quickly popped up in the reflection of the mirror. Gabby quickly turned around and stared at both of them. "Ummm... Need something?" Gabby asked quickly.

Zoey quickly walked to the entrance door and held it closed while Michelle moved towards Gabby. "How have you been lately?" Michelle asked calmly.

"Seriously? Get out of my face bitch" Gabby mumbled as she pushed Michelle away. Michelle quickly grew angry and pushed Gabby against the sink. "Yea! Hurting your sister sure is a brave thing! Why are you trying to be a badass?!" Gabby yelled as she pushed Michelle again.

Michelle quickly grew red and her eyes darkened. "I hate you Gabby... You need to know that I will always be the better sister. For me to succeed that wish, I need you out of the picture" Michelle mumbled as she grabbed Gabby's terrified face. She slowly moved close to Gabby and wispered, "goodbye...". Michelle quickly grabbed Gabby's hair and threw her head against the mirror.

Gabby soon came crashing down and fell onto the white tiled ground, knocked out and bleeding from her head. The ground soon grew red and Michelle stood over her sister. Zoey just stood by the door and crossed her arms. "Glad you got rid of the bitch..." Zoey mumbled as she stared at Michelle's smiling face.

"Shall we put the plan into action?" Michelle asked as she stepped over Gabby's body. Zoey slowly grabbed Michelle's hand and opened the door.

"We better be quick about it then..." Zoey mumbled as they sprinted down the hall.

 

Officer Paul, the entrence security guard stood by the front doors, dazing off. He slowly closed his eyes for a bit and put his head against the wall. Suddenly, his mouth was covered and he felt a metal object pressed to his skull. The last thing he heard was a click, and he suddenly fell to the ground, dead. Blood oozed from his dead body as the gunman stood over him. Zoey quickly took a deep breath and turned around and without skipping a beat, shot the security camera.

She knew she wasn't seen, at least she hoped. Michelle's first job was to gather a few of the others, take down the central office adminastraitors, and let no one sound the alarm. After completing that, the real action would begin.

Zoey quickly made sure that the silencer was still attached to the gun, and began walking towards the office while shooting all security cameras in her way.

Aly sat in her 6th period Biology class. Today they were disecting cats, and with an empty stomach she felt slightly queesy. Her lab partner was gone, so it was just her and the damn dead cat. She could honestly feel Calum's eyes burning into her skull. His nose was slightly bruised, but no questions were asked. She quickly heard Zane tell Calum to get back to work and Calum quickly cussed at Zane who was his partner.

Aly quickly heard what sounded like textbooks dropping on the ground out in the hallway down a bit. She quickly tensed up and clenched both the scalops in her hand. No one else seemed to notice the noise, so Aly slowly calmed down and took a deep breath. She looked to her left and saw Calum and Zane eyeing her suspiciously and she quickly sighed and got back to work.

Time went by and everyone suddenly jumped as they heard the beeping of the intercom come on. Everyone quickly dropped their things and paid close attention. A loud scream quickly came, and then a popping sound was quickly heard over the intercom. Aly stared in fear and quickly stood up. The teacher quickly told her to sit down and Aly quickly shook her head and began walking towards the door.

"You all sit down this instant!" Mr. Zeil quickly yelled out as more kids stood up. More shots and screams soon filled the intercom and screams and yells filled the school. "You damn kids better not be pulling some sick senior prank on us! I'll be back soon, everyone better stay here!" Mr. Zeil angrily muttered as he walked out of the room. Frusterated yells filled the intercom and Aly thought she reconized the voice. The intercom quickly stopped and Aly and everyone stood by their lab tables.

Everyone quickly glanced at each other with worried eyes. "Block the door! This is no prank!" Zane yelled as everyone burst into action.

 

"Someone call the police!" Zane yelled. Everyone quickly pulled out their phones and stared in horror at the screens.

"No damn signal!" a student yelled loudly as everyone began yelling. Aly quickly backed against the door to the next room and thought to herself.

"They cut off the reception towers... They seriously did it!" she wispered under her breath. Her mind quickly raced and she figured she needed to leave the room. Without her and the other family members, many people could possibly die. She quickly snuck through the door and entered the empty room next door. What sounded like an automatic gun went off at the other classroom door and everyone screamed loudly.

Aly took a deep breath and glanced past the entrance door to the hallway. A black figured man was shooting at the door and finally, he quickly kicked open the door and stood by the entrance door of the room full of terrified kids. "Where are Aly and Zane!!!" the man quickly yelled. Aly quickly heard Zane step out of the group and she burst into action. She sprinted down the hall and as soon as the man looked towards her, she kicked off the wall and kicked the man in the face. The gun suddenly flew into the group and Aly fell past the man. He quickly got up and started crawling towards Aly. He slowly pulled out a knife and stood over her. Aly quickly struggled but the man stepped on her chest and raised the knife. A few shots ran out and the man soon became blank eyed and his eyes rolled back and he fell backwards.

Zane stood behind him with a bloody face and the gun raised to where it was now pointing at Aly. He quickly lowered it and pulled Aly up. "We are getting out of this..." he wispered as he kissed her quickly. Aly quickly broke the kiss and led him to the lab room.
