Yep, that’s my friend. She loves old people so it’ll be a natural transition for her She’s actually a geriatric nurse so she hangs out with them all day and is so nurturing.
My amazing friend drove 4 hours just to buy me Chinese food and shower together. Yes... shower together. She knows I love a good cry in the shower. So she sat on the bottom with me while I poured my heart out, and washed my hair, drinking shower beers, with face masks on. Then we went to our favourite cafe to eat eggs benny. Bit of a weird fixer upper, but it helped.
Lmao I need a friend like this. Ask your buddy if there is room for another shower crying friend in their life. :')
Apartment... no bath... but knowing her she'd pee in it anyway, so it'd be a hard pass. There's always room for more shower crying friends! But we must share and cry together.
Well *hesitates* Back in high school, my best friend and I would hang out in her bathroom. She has very curly hair and would take her hours to straighten it and I dye my hair frequently- which is how this whole thing started. So whenever we would be upset, we would kind of just go sit in one of bathrooms together and talk smack. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Sometimes we'd smoke but we would just generally have a good time, cracking jokes and being young and dumb. We actually one locked her weed in there before she stopped smoking.
I've been crazy sick and going through some feels lately which I'm generally pretty open about. My normal friends know that getting me out of the house is usually best when I'm sad (but since I've been sick they've been calling me instead). And this one guy is a real character... Random call; no explanation. I answer the phone and am met with a blaring guitar solo that lasts like 4 minutes. It was awesome and made my day.
