I'll be on the lookout for more great thread possibilities.
It WAS really long. But I read it. LoL. Nice. Hardest language to learn for me... hmmm, I guess French. 'Cause it has a lot of silent pronunciations which one wouldn't know unless he learns it. x) Spanish is a bit easy for us because some words are the same with my first language. Japan's (Nippon), Korean's, Taiwan's and other Asian languages can be learned by watching series.
Cool thing I learned from my sister learning japanese. You pronounce the words as if you are talking spanish, so it's a pretty easy language to learn for me. As well as french, italian, and any other spanish variation.
My wife is an English teacher and she asked me to ss it so she can use it in her class. Great job! I'm Lord Bane and I've approved this message
I find French pretty easy, with my Spanish background, but speaking it fluently looks pretty impossible . You are very welxxxx Lord Bane .
I don't like Spanish and the sad part is that I'm full Mexican who wants to learn Japanese go figure lol
Great thread!!! These issues come to light everyday when your children are learning to read and spell. Trying to teach a child to read words based on their context is frustrating as heck. And then all of the rules that apply sometimes, but not others... it's enough to drive a person mad.
