The girl lay on her bed. She hadn't moved for about three days and she wasn't planning to. The love of her life was dead, four days ago, after he had moved to australia, she had recieved a letter saying that he had been killed by a land mine. Finally she got up and walked downstairs. Her hair was a mess and her face looked like a raisin. She got dressed and packed her bag for school. About five minutes later she was at school, her best friend, Sammie, came rushing up to her.
