The group had taken shelter in a house. Andy and Amy shared a room while Niko guarded at the door. He didn't feel like sleeping, he was wide awake. He clutched his repeater and stayed vigilant throughout the uneventful night.

After he finished writing, he used some bandages to wrap around the wound. He leaned against the tree, in too much pain to walk. He couldn't believe what happened... They came out of nowhere... He tried to save Andy, but... He just wasn't fast enough. Niko also managed to lose Amy somewhere in the woods. Hopefully she was safe...
The bandages had eventually helped stop the bleeding, but all through the process, Niko could feel himself being watched. "Well?!" He said in a weak and angered voice, "Are you gonna kill me or what?!" "Why would I kill you?!" A voice called out. "Because your boss wants me dead!" "What the hell are you talking about?!" "Just kill me already you son of a bitch! Riggers will be happier once you finally put me down!" It went silent before a man hopped out of a tree, beat up and bleeding. "So they're after you too..." He said.
