  1. The term “witch” is actually gender neutral

  2. Nope. I think it's nonsense tbh but it doesn't bother me if other ppl believe in it. I am kind of spiritual ig? I get weird dreams sometimes that play out in the future, sort of like a vision but not rly. Example: i once had a nightmare where a chiky i am close to was laying dead and naked in a bathtub with her heart cut out. When i woke up i was super disturbed and phoned her to tell her. She got weirded out and said she'd recently been put on a wait list for heart surgery. Stuff like that. I've had maybe 3 dreams like that that i have noticed occuring irl (so it may have happened other times and i didn't realize) it's not like it's a super common occurence. I've also told friends and at least one has said she had the same sort of dream that played out irl but it only happened once when she was a kid.

  3. i believe in it because i’ve seen a lot of spiritual work done within my family. i have an aunt that reads tea leaves. She gives you a cup of this weird tea full of herbs and after you drink from it she looks into the cup and tells you a bunch of things she really shouldn’t know about yourself. She is also an accredited root worker in her area.

  4. Witchcraft is evil and should not be messed with by anyone.

  5. That is a very common misconception. It’s not evil unless it’s used for evil

  6. it’s not, warlock is the male equivalent to witch

  7. Maybe in movies

  8. It is gender neutral. Men used to be called witches, too, and then the scots decided to differentiate gender. In modern usage, it has reverted back to being gender neutral.

  9. well ig google’s definition hasn’t reverted back to modern usage ?

  10. According to an actual accredited dictionary

  11. ^ missed that, but still never see people use it as a gender neutral term :/

  13. ??‍♀️

  14. Not sure why that is.

But yes, the term “witch” is gender-neutral. But “warlock” may also be used.

Men have been subjected to accusations of witchcraft and have been burnt at the stake, though not as prevalent when compared to women. In the case of the Salem Witch Trials, the majority accused were women, though there have been men as well. One man, I’m not sure of his name, had been accused of witchcraft, trialed, then sentence to death by crushing.

  15. ?‍♂️ Me as well. I’m extremely interested and might want to try practicing if I have time

  16. Nah. The unexplainable things just became witchcraft bc people were dumb. But the concept of magic and supernatural powers is still pretty cool but I doubt it most of it is real.

  17. Power is in the eye of the beholder ?

  18. I mean i read tarot cards and do dream interpertations so thats kinda similar??‍♀️

  19. Yup, that’s under the broad Witchcraft umbrella

  20. Real talk, there is no such thing as magic.
