  1. In what context is this thread taken at face value other than this one? It's your previous opinion of the author that makes you think that. To dispel their image and neuter their troll-abilities, take it at face value and discuss it openly.

If he wants to hear an underlying complex, say a healthy upbringing, security in self, a wish to express themselves, to identify a certain way, etc.
Undo and contradict what they're trying to tap into and shut down the conversation, and then maybe you will shut down the OP with it.

"Context" isn't an "easy pass" for you. Op asked a question and you dismissed it and the subtext of it. The subtext wasn't "I want to troll and evoke a reaction", to me, it was more like "I have a bias against people with dyed hair. They are usually x, y, or z. Do you think they are x, y, z, or something else?"

Whenever you question any actions, people who choose those actions are always at risk of being offended but that doesn't matter. A discussion is a discussion. If they can't stand up for and justify their own actions, then their insecurity and so on will probably be justified. Most people want to be able to justify and defend their own choices. Or the choices of others. But you don't do that by shutting down any discussion about those choices or critical voices regarding them, either.

  2. What a soppy reply

  3. OP has made it clear he does not care what people here think. A quick look at all his replies will show that he did not make this post to ask opinions and have a discussion. To say otherwise is willful ignorance.

  5. I mean you can give your reasoning why you dyed your hair. Its just my statement is the true reason

  6. That's a bold statement to make about someone you know very little about

  7. People have their reasons is the short answer

  8. There's no doubt that people dye their hair because they want to feel more attractive. Let's not lie to ourselves.

  9. I am attractive no matter what my hair colour is

  13. I'm just gonna gently skim this. I'm not reading it entirely because I'm fairly certain it will not be necessary to do so. Op answered their own question before the post even got a chance to move anywhere. Further discussion of the topic is redundant. Op did not ask for their opinion to be challenged. Op did not ask for counter arguments. Op had a clear, definitive answer of the question that they had posted. The story has ended. The case has been closed. There is no valid need for further discussion of the topic. Ty.

  14. Would this also apply to tattoos, piercings, and expensive clothing?
