"Guys," Justin said. "Guys!" The girls slowly turned around to see Justin's face. It was smiling. Katalina's face looked smudged. Her eyes were blood shot and the mascara that was once carefully placed on each lash now was beneith her eyes and across her cheeks. 'How could he possibly be smiling?' Katalina thought. "What Justin?" Colleen said, her voice cracking from the tears. "I think he's waking up," Justin said. Katalina ran to the side of the bed from the corner she had been in. She grabbed Charlie's hand and he squeezed it back, lightly. Katalina instinctively bursted into tears again. He had to come back. He just had to! Katalina convinced herself she wouldn't live if he didn't. Her body might still be there; still breathing. But she wouldnt have a heart, a soul. She wouldn't be able to be the same ever again. She would give up. Charlie's bandaged head twitched slightly. Katalina's heart skipped a beat. "Come on Baby. Just open your eyes. Please Baby, please. Just open them. Let me know that you're okay. I need you. Even if you can't hear me, know that I love you. You're the sun to my shine. The best to my friend. I don't know what I'll do without you." Katalina stopped and wept next to Charlie's bed, still holding his hand. "Don't stop now. It was just gettin good," Charlie managed to get out. "Charlie!" Katalina exclaimed. "Oh my gosh! You're still here!" She hugged him tight, but let up a little when he winced in pain. She kissed his forehead sweetly. "I would never leave you behind. Never," Charlie muttered. His eyes closed. The monitors next to his bed started beeping like crazy. Suddenly, the room was flooded with nurses. Katalina felt lost, confused, scared. Out of no where, Justin's arms were around her and she pounded her fists against his chest. He just held her tighter and tried to contain her in the corner. He tried, but she broke free. She tried to run to Charlie, but Justin caught her by the waist. Katalina let out a a blood curdling scream. "Charlie!"
