Wallace, that's different in Canada, and ATA has one of their HQ in Canada. ATA is a Canadian company and in Canada, the government has a little more power on companies.
If u technically look at it u have freedom of speech just if they dont like what u day they are going to silence u so u can say whatever u want u just have to deal with the consequences afterwards.
read the rules of conduct. ATA allows "freedom of speech" unless they deem it unacceptable. then they reserve the right to alter and/or remove your post.
If I were silenced I would just delete the game, this game is supposed to be 17 and up. The banning of words on here is completely ridicules, I could understand if some pervert took it too far but seriously we are adults. Our statuses/walls shouldn't be monitored for curse words and bypass because you have the option of blocking someone you don't want writing on your wall and should be able to say whatever you want. That person chooses to read what you write if they don't like it then stop looking at it.
My opinion slightly changed, so don't call me a hypocrite.... So, its basically like an airport, say what you wish, but if you say the word bomb you are done for. Or a school, again you can say whatever you want, but (especially/mostly for younger children) if you say a swear or joke about weapons you will be screwed? (This maybe a clarification, im not sure why i wrote this anymore, anyways i gtg)
Obviously azzy didn't read, or if they read didn't comprehend, what I wrote. So here azzy let me clarify what I wrote. Ata is a private company. They are non-governmental. With that being said, they can restrict what we say, they can censor certain words and they sure as shit can take away any forms of communication.
Is it really so hard to just follow rules? Break the ToU, get punished If you dont agree to the rules, no one's forcing you to play PiMD. Uninstall it.
