It may not be entirely absurd since it could be a business decision, in one form or another. When there is a consideration to conclude an acceptance for an offer to provide support, a service contract can be so established. Should there be no payment, Dev has no obligation to render support on certain "chosen" user account as part of their 'sales' strategy. Give you an example. You are given 5 times to transfer your account to another device via the online form. Finish the 5 times, you will need to write in and request for a transfer. Once you write in, Dev will ask for your, on top of screen name, new and old UDID (which is the only information they need), they also asked for other information such as initial screen name, signed up date, last login date and, most interestingly, last purchase date as well as invoice no. Well-elaborated transfer and verification support isn't it? ི
I'd advise those of you saying the developers grant unsilences to people who spend money stop. This is classed as a false allegation. One player on this thread has already been silenced for it. Let's not make it two or more.
Then may I ask why several well known players are still communicating on this game after 6 silences and why several other players claim to get permanent silences revoked by such methods? I'm not accusing, just curious to know why multiple offenders still talk and why some say money got them unsilenced if it's not true? Why would the all say that if it's not a possibility?
For those who are alleging Dev unsilencing some at a fee, you could be sued for defamation in real life. In my opinion, Dev would NOT unsilenced anyone mainly because this would probably antagonise Mod group; reasonably speaking. Should Mod be paid to do the 'dirty' job, unsilenced service could then be sold at a varying prices depending on no. of times it is bought.
Kko, even if it is so true, it is a business decision; first, there is no evidence and second, it is not wrong to do so as Dev reserves the 'right'.
If Mag, for illustration only, promises to buy just 7650ec to have someone banned permanently, and this someone is a non-paying user for the past 2 years, will you bring in the money (your salary) for your company?
Thanks for the information, I have taken this information and placed it in your account for future reference. As long as you are not violating our ToU, your account should be fine. Thanks, - Aeron
I must admit the Devs probably do favor the players that spend more. But no they aren't going to treat anyone else harshly because of lack of spending
