i’m not korean and all but it’d definitely be nice to see 2 of my favourite korean artists perform live - 다비치 (davichi) and 김종국 (kim jong kook). i started to actually listen to 다비치 after watching descendants of the sun and hearing their song in the kdrama. from then on, i went to listen to their other songs. i love their voices and the lyrics for some of their songs (e.g: “days without you”, “just the two of us”, “love is”, “beside me”). i stan my ost queens. didn’t really know 김종국 was a singer because i saw him on running man during ‘12 and only got to know about it when i “did my research” (or as some would say, stalking), i was curious as to what he sounds like as well, he’s ✨ the commander ✨. and it surprised me when his voice was totally different from what i expected - really gentle + definitely not matching his physique at all. his voice definitely makes my heart flutter, and the lyrics behind his songs too... oof. till today, i still obsess over him. i still remember having him as my wallpaper in my phone and my mp4 player (the walkman one whereby you can watch videos on it & stuff).... i actually have him as my wallpaper & lockscreen rn tbh ? but... ye. these two artists are who i wanna see perform live. i think i’d freak tf out if i got tickets to their concerts ㅋㅋㅋ
That is so cute. Haha It is so weird when you find out a singer looks way different than how you envision them based on their voice. I hope you get to see them someday! ?
i saw ghost live last month it was amazing i recommend seeing them when you can ? but i wanna see rammstein live next their shows also look theatrical
Oml I am so jealous. I was going to see them on December 16th but totally spaced and forgot to get tickets until it was too late. I crii every tiem.
Since I've been missing my bff lately, I've been going back to listening to our old fav bands so rn I would say The Sounds&The Hives!! We would sing our hearts out and shake our heads like crazies! Always a good time, always good memories!♡ Also Kendrick Lamar cus DAMM!
Adele, i was really against her when she first came out because i felt she was way over-hyped. i listen to her a lot now(my opinion has since changed) and i’ve watched some of her performances and she does nothing but stand there and sing and the crowd is captivated by just her voice. id like to experience that.
I really want to see AC/DC live and again Disturbed. I love old rock and AC/DC are a real dream of mine. I've even wrote my English essey on them at the end of highschool, for my English degree
I want to see Lana del Rey, I love her and her music, she's got an amazing and unique voice. I've been listening to her since 2015, and even though I listen to other artists, at the end of the day I still keep coming back to her, it's like she's like a part of me.
There’s actually two people I want so, so badly to see live, Eden and Rex Orange County. I want to see both of them for generally the same reason. I’ve listened to them since the very early stages of their music, and I’ve watched them grow into rather big artists, so even seeing live performances on YouTube and such makes me tear up because I’m so happy for them (that might be weird, but idc). One of the reasons their music and seeing them live has such an impact me, and is something I want to experience so badly, is also because some of their songs have helped me through a lot, especially Eden’s. It’s sort of like some of their songs made me feel less alone and, especially since they write their own stuff, it felt like someone else was feeling how I did. It may be silly, I dunno, but them and their music means so much to me. I’d give a lot to see them, especially to get something like a VIP ticket where I could actually meet them, whew. I would freak out.
I am loving all of these responses and am adding the ones I am not familiar with to my list of need-to-listen-to. I hope you all get to see your bands some day! ?
