REAL GOOD STORY KRIS KEEP IT UP
Sorry, almost forgot about this God, I can be an idiot... CHAPTER 20 (continued) Kris hadn't ever held a proper sword before, although he had, like most boys, pretended with sticks... He took the sword belt, looking around, deciding it was a "better safe than sorry" scenario, and he slipped it around the pants at his waist. He drew the sword to examine it a bit. It was lighter than he expected, and he swung a couple times, finding it very comfortable to use. It was as if the handle was perfectly fitted to his hand, and the blade perfectly balanced. He was rather impressed, so much that he almost didn't hear the faint crack behind him... Kris spun around, sword drawn, and was greeted by a man in odd armor, who had a sword drawn as well, and a mask covering his face. Before Kris could say anything, the man charged, sword above his head, and Kris was forced to fight. He had absolutely no idea what he was doing, with no real swordplay knowledge, and he reacted the way he'd seen in movies, swinging his sword at the stranger's, and the swords clashed with sparks. Kris decided that in proper sword fighting, he was all but defenceless, and in the split second of contact, Kris grabbed the other man around the neck and kneed him, solidly hitting his gut, despite the armor there. The man sank to his knees, gasping. "Enough... You've proven yourself..." he said, still gasping for air, and he pulled off his helmet. ~To be continued~ YES, I'm going to keep going, thanks for everyone's support, I REALLY apprieciate it!
