Wednesday. If my phone still works by then, I should have a new update. If not, I'll upload it to KaW...
DAMN, I forgot! Sorry, I have way too many presents to finish to be writing at least until Christmas... I'M SO SORRY!
I'M SORRY! Now that that's outta the way, UPDATES! CHAPTER 13 Kris heard the noises of the entire school moving around for the final classes before glorious freedom... Crap, almost forgot about my detention... Kris grimaced, then felt a hand intentionally tap him on the shoulder. He turned around and saw Destiny smiling at him among the crowd. “Hey there, you on your way to the gym too?” Destiny smiled at him, showing perfect white teeth. “Yeah, but I thought you already had gym class today?” Kris raised an eyebrow at her. She just shrugged back. “I have a deal with the teachers, I get extra gym classes if I trade away my English lessons. An obvious choice, right?” She smirked at him. Kris laughed for a second, “Wow, never knew that you could make deals with the teachers. Why does that seem so wrong?" Destiny giggled, “Still in the ‘Teachers are evil’ mentality? Poor you.” She grinned at him and they made their way through the masses until they reached the gymnasium entrance. “No trying to sneak a peek inside the girl's changing rooms!" she teased as she headed to go change. Kris blushed, “I’d never... oh, it was a joke.” He looked embarrassed. Destiny just laughed and kept walking. Kris went and changed, being one of the first ones there he was able to change in peace before the more rowdy students came by. He walked out into the gym itself, where the teacher noted his early arrival, and was soon joined by a very fit-looking Destiny. “You look a bit out of shape there, Kris.” She smirked playfully as she saw him. “Everyone looks out of shape compared to you, Ms. Wild-and-Free-Running.” Kris retorted, a similar grin appearing on his face. “Was that a compliment?” Destiny raised an eyebrow at him, but before he could even think of a reply, the rest of the students began to stream into the gym, filling their ears with the noise of 15 conversations at the same time. The teacher blew his whistle, and the students went silent. “Today I’ve reserved the rock wall for us, and then we can play a bit of dodgeball. Girls, you can skip the climbing if you want.” Half a dozen hands went up, all belonging to a girl complaining it was “that time of the month” and they all went over to the same corner of the room, chatting. The teacher sighed, but began the class. Destiny took the hardest part of the wall, where one had to climb out from the wall itself without any footholds, with ease, showing excellent arm strength and knowledge of how her body moved. Kris attempted the same part, finding it was even harder than it sounded. He fell the first few times, but realized that he might make it if he leapt from the wall and caught one of the rocks that jutted out more than the others. As he again climbed the first few feet to the harder part, he felt the majority of the class’s attention on him. He tried to not let it get to him, and when he got into the proper position, he leapt, noticing at the last second that the mat wasn’t long enough for him to land safely if he missed the rock...
