A person is a person, i'm not saying Houston is more important but she was someones family, sister, aun. Who are we to say that it isn't important that she died?

Ds- That's what I'm trying to say. Ally- Agreed. Jswizzle- I understand that. But what I'm trying to say is we go overboard. Watching the Grammys I had to of heard he name plenty of times. Also, the state of New Jersey (her home state) has to lower their flags on he funeral day. You can't tell my that this isn't too much.
I know that everyone has an opinion. I respect that. What I meant from that was people like -Black_White-. They shouldn't be calling me names, based on my opinion.
Ok the flags thing was a little much, i live in NJ and i was kinda angry, but the grammys are kinda dedicated to entertainment so i can see why they would do that
I agree I am a NYPD officer and unfortunately my brother died in the line of duty trying to catch a criminal but he didn't get a half staffed flag nothing and he was protecting people I liked her music but come on she is a bad influence for kids! We care more about druggies then our own people who risk there lives for us!
Jswizzle- I do aswell. Yes, I knowthe Grammys were for entertainment and she was a singer. But, I think it still was a bit much. Rihanna said "clap for Whitney" or something like that. I believe we should have been clapping for Rihanna and Coldplay.
