Update Macy's Pov: I walked to fourth period trying to avoid bumping into Alex. I walked with Emily walking slowly. "Macy you seem weird! You okay?" She looked at me. "Yea I'm fine I just hate our Next class!" I looked at the floor. "It's Alex..." "No not-" she cut me off panicking. "No I mean it's Alex he's coming over here!" She ducked and slipped away from me. I panicked and froze watching Alex walk over to me. "Hey stranger!" He smiled. "Haha stranger danger! " I started walking away but he grabbed my hand. I froze feeling his warm skin on mine felt so right yet so wrong. "Look I know you don't really like me because you think I'm a jerk who flirts with a million girls and strings them on. Truth is that's not me and I would really like it if you let me prove myself, please?" He looked at me with a hopeful look in his eye. "Alex I-" I was intruppted by Ann. "Alex get over here! I need you baby doll," she winked at him. "Um bye," I let go of his hand and walked away not daring to look back. He followed close behind me and soon caught up. Taking my hand in his, he walked with me to fourth period. I looked down at his hand "Careful don't want anyone to see you holding my hand." "Wrong I wanna make sure every guy knows I got dibs," he smiles kissing my hand. I blush wildly "whatever!" OMG
I don't understand why she's acting this way.... Her crush wants to be with her and she knows it. If my crush told me he liked me too I'd be thrilled. I get the whole "he might be playing her", which she can clearly see he isn't, even from her point of view. If she's waiting for him to be without girls by him, that's asking too much girls are gonna be his friend and their gonna like him too, competition is key, my dear.
Update Alex's Pov: I smiled it felt great holding her hand, it felt so right. I walked her to class not caring who saw us. "Careful people might think we're a couple!" She giggled, but I heard the sadness in her voice. "So? Let them think what they want!" I walked into class still holding her hand. Everyone stopped and stared. I walked her to her seat, kissed her forehead, and walked to my seat sitting down. I looked over at Macy and she just giggled. Everyone was staring us down I was getting uncomfortable, but the bell saved me. I really think he likes me the way he says he does, at least I hope so. I sighed today was utterly perfect and nothing could ruin it. ******************************** I walked down the hall to go pay a due for national honors society, weaving my way through the sea of people. I finally made it to the room where Beth and Ann were also getting their dues paid I rolled my eyes god help me. I walked over to Mrs. Carson handing her the money "here you go ma'am 50 dollars." I watched Beth and Ann leave and I released a sigh of relief. I waited for Mrs. Carson to write me a receipt and then I walked out the door on my way to the parking lot. "HEY MACY!" I turned to see Beth and Ann walking up to me. "Can I help you?" I looked at them. What could they possibly want? "Yes you can actually," Ann smiled "you can stay the hell away from Alex that's what you can do!" She glared at me. "He's mine!" I laughed "that's why he held MY hand and pushed YOU away? That makes perfect sense. I don't have time for your childish games," I turned on my heels and walked away. "Hey Macy!" Beth called being quiet until now. "You can stay away from him or we'll humiliate you after all, we know what you did," she laughed. I stopped abruptly. I knew exactly what she was talking about, but how did she know? "You wouldn't!" I turned around facing them holding in the tears. "Oh we so would!" Ann crosses her arms. "Stay away or the secret is spilled," they turned and left. I sank to the floor hugging my knees. How did they know? If anyone found out this could ruin me! I cried as hard as I could. This was the worst day of my life and I'm sure it was just the beginning. How do they know? What's the secret? Will she stay away from Alex?
