  10. My mom was never around when I was a child. she worked all the time. I don't have good, or bad memories with her, even until today. We don't get along, and when we do, it's usually an argument in the making. but she's my mom.

I do wanna honor my grandma though. She's the one that raised me, and gave me the lessons I still hold dearly to this day, that I would pass down to my kids, and down even farther.

I remember one time, she was taking a nap and I being the little brat that I still am sometimes, and actually playing with the stove. I was hungry leave me alone.  I don't know what woke her up, or by chance she just really woke up. I got in trouble so much that time. But afterwards, she took me out for ice cream for not burning down her house.

My grandma will be forever be like my mom. I don't think I have enough love for her like I should, and I wish I could show it. I lost her when I was 18. 4 months before high school graduation, but I lost her before that in 2001, when she got real sick and had to be put into a nursing home.

So thank you grandma, for teaching me what I know.

  11. Do grandparents have a day because they do so much my grandma is my life

  12. One time me and my mom were camping and she got so drunk and passed out on a rock in the middle of a river so me and some random dude had to carry her back to the campsite. That dude was a total babe and I made out with him while my mom barfed her brains out  true story

  15. Mom saving me after I rolled down the stairs o_O

  16. Last december I was diagnosed to have an 8cm brain tumor in pineal gland area. My mom never left me during my shunt operation and radiotherapy. She took care of me 4 months straight.

I love my mom so much. More than my life

  17. The time i saw grandmama do it with a baby in her arm.. She put her hand on the counter and started swanging it hard

  18. My parents in law are from the other side of the world. As part of their custom to let their daughter get engaged they invite the son in laws parents to an informal engagement party. Now my mum HATES flying. The limit to her flying time is about 4 hours which limits her to Europe, both through fear but more importantly, medical conditions. She travelled 16 hours on a plane just so I could get engaged. Never been so proud of her. She's very unselfish and a brilliant mum!

  19.  My mum is downright nuts, but I adore her so much! Even though I'm more of the parent these days..

My best memory of her was Christmas when I was 6.. She set up a Christmas Eve picnic under the tree for my little sister and I, and told us stories about Santa and the reindeer for hours.. When we woke up on Christmas Day, she'd covered our back porch in flour and made 'reindeer tracks'  I'll never forget how magical that was to me as a kid..

Buuuut she was always like that.. Telling us stories about fairies in the garden, and other magical things, just to bring some awe to our little lives  she still does it, even now, and I love seeing her tell those same stories to my niece and nephew..

 Happy Mother's Day to this fabulous lady!
