You do know that most/all of the religious books hve changed a LOT since they were first written right? And the Bible is the one that's changed the most out of all.
Honestly, I don't care what people think about them. They're people, respect that. It's not like they're aliens. I respect the fact that they like other people. I'm bisexual, so I don't care what people think about me.
Kaname. While that is true with a lot of the modern versions of the Bible, when you look back to the Koine Greek and original Hebrew, then you will get the original. When you translate things, you lose some of the impact of what it is saying. When you read in the original Greek it really has a different impact.
There is a reason why I follow no book or person, and choose to have my independent views on opinions on life. I am not a follower of The Bible, that doesn't mean I'm an evil person, it means I have my own opinions. I could believe in God, and not follow the Bible. The Bible was written with many contradictions, no? And I choose not to follow it. So, everyone who based their opinions on religion, I do not agree with them at all. That said, I completely support homosexuality, bisexuality, heterosexuality, and whatever else. I believe people should have a right to choose what they believe in. I also believe they can be proud of it. I am straight, and I obviously let people know I'm straight. Nothing wrong with other people saying they are homosexual or bisexual, or whatever. This is my opinion, I don't expect everyone to agree. My point is, nobody should base their opinions on parents, books, friends, family, etc... Again, my opinion. If you choose to follow something, and base your opinion on it, it's your life. All I'm saying is, why do we argue, when we could all live in peace? Well, that's my opinion.
But have those originals been printed out and distributed? And I mean recently. Not in the 18th or 19th century. If they have then I hope to read it too, not something that has been changed to manipulate people.

Well, Hermes, if I had the original text, I would read it. And I do not doubt you know more about the bible than me. If that's all you got out of my opinion, then I'd worry about something else. My point is not the contradictions, but following a book is not my style per se. I told you, we all have our own opinions. I was just saying mine.
Lol if you read my original post i said there is a lot more that I need to learn. I am in no wise smart, but I have studied the Bible for years and know about it. Can I explain everything? No. But could I explain some things? Yes.
