  1. Lol Laugh out loud.

Usually one who is laughing is joking. Or that's the impression I was under 

  2. Lol has been so overused it lost it's meaning years ago. Now it's just an add-on.

  3. ... No LOL still means laughing, it's just that no one actually laughs out loud. Or it's rare that someone actually does.

  4.  Wow that made me feel ancient. Years ago?  So basically, I'm suppose to add lol to any statement such as....

My arm was just cut off lol.
I was walking to work and an angry elf kicked me in the vagina lol.
 My boyfriend broke my heart, lol.

How is that? Do I sound young now? 

  5. It's lost it's meaning to me. People say lol after everything.

    Example.
    "Your dog just died?"
"Yeah. It was really sad. Lol."

That's what I expect to get out of an "lol" post.

  6. I never knew lol'ing was so technical 

    Lol

  7. It is now. 

  8. Me neither.
    Those darn teenagers. 

  9. Call me a teen, that's what I am. I have the personality of an adult, however.

You can't tell me you don't think lol is overused. I, myself, am guilty of using lol when it doesn't need to be used.

  10. But, I'm not talking about lol, dammit. This is a car thread.

  11. I happen to use it anytime I find something funny.

For awkward situations I use "heh" instead.

  12. This is like what I'm saving for. Something like this.
