... No LOL still means laughing, it's just that no one actually laughs out loud. Or it's rare that someone actually does.
Wow that made me feel ancient. Years ago? So basically, I'm suppose to add lol to any statement such as.... My arm was just cut off lol. I was walking to work and an angry elf kicked me in the vagina lol. My boyfriend broke my heart, lol. How is that? Do I sound young now?
It's lost it's meaning to me. People say lol after everything. Example. "Your dog just died?" "Yeah. It was really sad. Lol." That's what I expect to get out of an "lol" post.
Call me a teen, that's what I am. I have the personality of an adult, however. You can't tell me you don't think lol is overused. I, myself, am guilty of using lol when it doesn't need to be used.
