Isn't Texas Central Mexico and LA West Mexico. Btw. Don't ever call a Puerto Rican a Mexican on accident. Or vice versa
Semi-related, but apparently it wasn't common knowledge that Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens and that Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory. After the hurricane down there, and the discourse around Trump's "aid," a lot of people learned they were U.S. citizens. But the fact that it wasn't common knowledge prior is kind of mind-boggling
It’s mainly because we never refer to it as a part of the US. It’s just like how no one remembers the U.S. Virgin Islands until they think about taking a vacation.
Lmao that's why I say I'm from Mexico even that I'm not. Easy to explain lol. Hi latino guys, is so hard to find y'all
Yeah, I understand that, but I think we should start remembering it is a part of the U.S. Education is important. And a lot of Americans complain about British colonization and imperialism (irt the American Revolution yada yada) so aghast when America is doing the same thing... big oof
Omg yes, just when we thought our education couldn’t get any worse she walks in and well…makes it worse
