Weird Words

Actually I think that's another one. Spelt and spelled. We use both but think most people use spelled

 

… no. Oh god. Spelled and spelt are two different tenses.

To and too do not have the same meaning

I live in the U.S. and I use 'grey', 'colour', and 'favourite'. I always get counted off on my essays for using those spellings...

Oh and I think hippopotamus is a weird word. Not that it is the type that OP was looking for but still weird. Just say it slowly outloud a few times and think about it.

 

The only place where its spelt color is america. The Rest of the world spells it colour. Only in america

Theyre outdated. Nobody does anything that americans do from your spelling to the units of measurement, etc. The rest of the world must move on

 

i can't say much we use imperial measures mostly in UK too
