A video game called majoras mask...

 

It isn't really, it's about a stolen mask that has the power to grant the user their wish

 

The mask is also of a deity, that deity has been killing and eating his prey just to be alone, then a wise old man simply made him dance until he died then he carved the mask out of the remnants

 

But, the mask is still alive, it was a friend of the giants until they went away then the mask turned the world into a game, three days from then, the moon will destroy Termina, and Termina comes from terminus which is Latin for "end"

 

The skull kid, a lonely spirit, was walking by then he stole the mask, he put it on and then he was possessed by the mask, acting like the transmitter for the moon and the mask
