I've never been a fan of the rs "feature". When I wrote ata pointing out everything in my opinion that is wrong with it, they justified it mainly by stumping the ec transfer feature. Less than a month later, they yanked it. So by implication of their own argument, the rs feature is now irrelevant?

I think this view was brought up when they removed the noob deals but ATA didn't quite clarify it.
