Phoebe~ "B-But..." "Phoebe, I can't.." "Why not, Brian? Why?" I asked. He frowned, hugging me. "B-Because if I do, I would be breaking the rules as your angel-" "What do you mean?!" I Barked, trying to pull away. He held me tight. "By helping you, that wouldn't be learning a lesson of life-" "Are you joking?! I've been suffering for ten years!" I shouted, breaking From his grip. "Well, I've been trying to, and the three month is a lie." he said, pulling me back in for a hug. My heart pounded faster and faster. "W-What-" "They lied. You're gonna live, Phoebe." he said, smiling. I was getting creeped out now.
Brian~ I was her guardian angel, and they misdiagnosed Phoebe. I knew that for sure. I was meant to protect this girl with my whole angel heart. I loved this girl. Phoebe Meredith Cloud. She looked at me funny and frowned,"You can tell me I'm not dying, but you can't tell me who you are?" "Yup, sounds about right." I answered, letting her out of my deathly hug. She sat on her bed, frowning. I smiled a bit and she scowled. "Why are you even here?" she hissed. "To tell you that you aren't dying," I said, disappearing back to heaven.
My eyes were burning, feeling every ounce of neglect, but so much happiness! I was gonna live! Live my life to the fullest! I screamed my head off laughing and squealing when my mother said, sternly and full, like she had food in her mouth, "Phoebe, stop it. I know your grounded, but you have to shut up." "Whatever!"I hugged onto my pillow. Still, I want to know one thing. Why had he, my guardian angel, shown his true self? Aren't angels secret?
Brian~ I was being scolded at, just for blowing my cover as an angel. "Brian! Don't you ever, ever go see her again! She can't see you, and you weren't supposed to tell her anything!" my father scolded. He was super upset, no joke. He was screaming about my duties, screaming vulgarities, and I was standing there in silence. After they dismissed me, I left immediately. I messed up more, and There's many more screw-ups to come.
Brian~ My mother stepped in, in an encasing cashmere dress covered with a silky veil on her shoulders. She looked at us with a sudden gasp, "What happened?" My mother was one of the main angel caretakers in the Legion. She made sure everything was going smoothly with every angel, she is a great mom. My father massaged his temples with an annoyed groan,"Caylina, he went and blew his cover, again." My mother pouted, giving me saddened eyes, her golden eyes showing me it perfectly."Brian, why did you?" I said, upset,"She wanted to know!" I crossed my arms as I slumped in my dads extra chair,"She's different mom. Why do we always have to stay secret?" My mother pressed a soft peck on my forehead, letting her delicate sunset hair, covered in flowers, gently touch my face. She smelled of peaches and nature. Its not like my dad, who smells of grease and sweat. "Now you know why. Now just to please your father, go and behave ok? Humans are not needed with so much information."my mother whispered gently. I sighed, then went back to my cloud, covering my head in my blanket, unhappy of what my parents thought of me. I love my parents. But my dad is the worst of it. He's the head security of the Legion, making sure no angel is misbehaving. Every time they let me with no punishment, expect my dad because I'm his son. My mother is like one of those angels, real angels. Not those thoughtless ones like my dad. She's considered,"Harmony" in the Legion. I never thought my mother would be with my father. The real question is...How can I meet this girl again?
