Hi! So... This is Just_Another_Nobody. I got an account transfer just to clear things up! This is not an update, sorry. But I LOVE how many people actually like my story! Thank you all so much! I will make sure to update ASAP. Enjoy your weekend -Laugh
"Thanks, Ms. Flynn!", Connor said as I pulled him down the stairs. He grinned wide, exposing his adorable dimples. "Your mom is so nice." "Shut up! No she's not! She's just embarrassing." I argued, my cheeks burning crimson. "I don't know, she's pretty cute." He mumbled, looking back up the stairs with a huge grin on his face, not showing any teeth. "Hey! I thought you liked me! Now you're going after my mom?" With that said, Connor quickly looked back at me, shaking his head fiercely, his light brown hair flipping every which way. His face was now serious as he leaned towards me ever so slightly. "No, not like that. Like old people in love, cute. Besides, no girl in the world could ever compare to you, Aly." He mumbled, his hot breath sticking to my ear. His lips moved to my jawline, giving me small pecks making me burst into a fit of giggles. "You're so cheesy." "I know. I had a quesadilla for lunch." Connor said, making me laugh even louder. "Okay, so anyways, we have homework to do!" I exclaimed clapping my hands. We plopped down on the comfy leather couch, our books already scattered on the coffee table before us. "We were doing Pre-Calc, right?" Connor asked, scratching his head, his mouth taught to one side. "Yeah, so-" "Hey! How did your tutoring thing go, by the way?" He blurted out, now facing me with the most adorable excited face ever. I laughed dryly before taking an anxious breathe. I've known Connor for a while now. I guess you could say he replaced Roman. After Roman was out of the picture, Connor stepped in. He was a new student, and I just looked at it as a new chance for a fresh start. Of course, as our friendship grew stronger we each told each other things we had never ever told anyone else. Connor is a protective person. He was raised by his tough-as-nails, marine father. His mom died giving birth to his sister, so both Connor and his dad are very protective over the women in his life. If another guy so much as glances at my shoes, I can feel Connor tense up. But I know Connor would never go after them, that is, unless he had a valid reason to. If that happens, you better just hope for the best. "Aly?" I looked up from my paper I was staring at blankly to see Connor, now a bit more concerned. "Are you going to tell me how it went?" "Oh, um yeah." I stuttered, flipping through my Pre-Calc stuff. "It was good." Connor sighed, and then grabbed my hands to stop them from fiddling with the pages of the large book. "I can tell you're hiding something. How did it really go?" He asked again, his voice almost pleading. I sighed, withdrawing a hand from his and running it through my knotted hair. "Roman was there." "No surprise." He chuckled. "I never suspected Roman to be a smart one." "Hey! Roman is plenty smart. He's just not as book smart." I protested. "Just not as book smart? So, why don't you tell me what he's smart in since you know everything there is to know about Roman." Connor snapped. "Um, excuse me, I don't know what I did to make you so angry at me." I retaliated, becoming irritated by Connor's ignorance. Sure, Roman and I may not be all "buddy-buddy" but we were and he is plenty smart at other things. "I'm not angry at you, I'm just.. Ugh!" He exclaimed, ripping himself off the couch and to his feet, obsessively running his hands through his hair. "Just what?" "I don't want you around him. He hurt you, Aly. He sure as hell can hurt you again if he wants to." Connor said, his voice rising. "For your information, he's changed." I said, surprising even myself now. Connor cocked his eyebrow up, a smirk rising to his lips. This one was different though, far from his usual happy, chipper one. This one was sinister. "Oh really?" He asked, chuckling bitterly. "How would you know? Are you guys best friends again?" "Why are you being such a jerk, Connor?" I asked, completely flustered. What has gotten into him? "I'm just saying, I think you should stay away from him." He said, sweeping his stuff into his back pack. "Y-you're leaving me?" I stuttered, tears rising to my eyes. "I've had enough for today, Aly. It's not that I don't love you, I do. I just... I need to think." He said, swinging his bag around to his back. He walked up to me and kissed me gently on the forehead, his lips lingering. "Goodbye, Aly." He said leaving me alone the basement. "Goodbye, Connor." A/N: GAH! I finally updated! We should throw me a party to celebrate! WOO! Okay, party over. Sorry I left for so long. Forgive me?
