My visit to China was bad too... No hygiene ... they spit everywhere and blow their noses with their fingers on the ground. And that was Shanghai, a developed city . No personal space, they just talk right in your face or lean up against you when trying to get off the plane. ?... Squatting toilets . Luckily I didn't have to use those.
I've travelled to Egypt, France, Russia, and vacationed in Dubai for a little bit once. Nothing special really other than getting to see a whole new world of people. (Well sorta.) And those hole in the ground toilet you speak of Nick, they had those in Egypt too. Much grosser looking than the one in the picture though. ???
