  1. No, if you read my posts you would see I do not support self harm. Just because you've done it doesn't necessarily mean you support it.

I don't support it. There's various reasons for why people do as such but despite I don't agree. There's much more effective means of feeling better. However I will not shun anyone who has done it and make themselves feel bad about something they did to survive.

  2. Robert, I don't want to hear your life story, now leave my thread. You are the problem, now leave

  3. If you self harm, I'm going to make fun of you. I don't care if people think I'm ignorant. It's just plain wrong.

  4. They aren't advocating self harm.. They agree it's wrong but there's no need to talk down on people who have self harmed either

  5. Can't make me leave bud. I've stayed on topic with this thread.

  6. And as ignorant as his opinions may be you did ask for it in your initial post OP

  7. Robert, you made fun of drug addicts, what's your reasoning for that? People die daily over that, now leave.

  8. I didn't say that they should do it. I'm saying that if they do, do that they shouldn't be judged. In fact, you should try to help them. Sometimes, those people are too far gone to realise that hurting themselves is not ok.

Please explain to me how telling them that they're horrible people for self harming is going to make them stop?

We're talking about depression here. It's not something you can just wave away with a special wand.

Why don't we just tell people that they deserve cancer and that their body is weak and if their body was stronger it would have fought of those cancer cells by themselves.

  9. Nah, I didn't ask for him to hate on people with drug issues, and that's what he did, now leave.

  10. You're not outright advocating it, but you're saying possible reasons why it could be done. I'm saying that no matter what you should never self harm. You said cutting eases the pain? Where's the logic in that? 2 wrongs don't make a right.

  11. I agree self harming is completely wrong. But it's a part of society and we just have to deal with it. I'm sure many of them stop self harming eventually. They get over their problems and move on. As for those who encourage self harm as a way or coping well that's an entirely different topic.

  12. Actually, if OP requests that you leave whether you're on topic or not. You need to leave.

If you don't, then it's up to OP if they would like a mod to forum ban you.

  13. Cutting releases a rush of adrenaline, that's what makes it feel good to people. Eases their pain.

  14. He was making fun of drug addicts and alcoholics, that's off topic, and uncalled for, e needs to leave please.

  15. I actually don't believe Robert is doing bad.

I went through years of therapy and people coddling me...what got me to stop hurting myself was simple, it no longer was effective, that stemmed with the realization that it's dumb as fuck and I would have scars for the rest of my life kinda woke me up.

I don't think coddling people is effective, I believe the more we make it acceptable to the public the more likely people are to do it because it's a "cool" thing to do.

But education is necessary. To everyone regardless.

  16. In the past, it has been said that if you stay on topic, you are allowed to stay. It's a public forums isn't it? If what you say is true, that means people can be kicked for giving opinions that OP doesn't like?

  17. Hey OP, you say I'm making fun of drug addicts and alcohol addicts, but I wasn't the first one to bring them up, was I? If I'm kicked, every other person who has mentioned those should be kicked too.

  18. There's a difference though. Not everyone who self harms has depression.

That whole cut for bieber business made me sick.

  19. I have self-harmed. Awful, I know. I do not recommend it or advocate it. It was more of a "I already hurt emotionally and can't control it that I deserve to hurt physically and can control it." The rationale makes no sense, but it did at the time. Instead of cutting myself, I just run until I can't breathe. That is a "healthy" way to get my emotions out that hurts but doesn't hurt....if that makes sense.

  20. Rainbow, ride a rollercoaster. I'd prefer that adrenaline over self harming.
