And for anyone who doesn't think that I was nice to them, I was. I was so nice to them. Also, there was another day after this that topped it. Complete with a lady screaming at me in Creole, and our roof falling apart. Needless to say, I found another job.
Wow. I always tip 15%, 20% if I left a mess or anything. Some people are bloatheads. Seriously, you're not a servant. You're a person trying to earn some money for something. Learn it. Don't leave a mess and tip next to nothing. I have a hell of time not yelling and beating the crap out of them.
I never tip. If you don't like your job quit. Instead bout whining about a stupid tip! There are other ways to make dough!! ~LORD DEUCE WASSSS HERE!!
Im sorry but at least you have a job. Me on the other hand is still looking for one. But potatoes!
If the country in question has a rule of tipping waiters, then I will follow the rules and tip the percentage stipulated. I will not leave a mess because that is not who I am: I am careful and if I don't like to do it in my own house, I won't do it in a restaurant. Besides, leaving a mess just because 'I can' is just playing dumb. Waiters are there to serves us, not to be our servants. But again, like I said on page 15, if you have an stablished salary and there are no rules on tipping, then I do not agree on it. You are doing your job and being paid for it already: being nice and serve well is part of your job, you shouldn't have extra money for it. Like I said, other jobs won't get tips... A costumer should not be rude or disgusting, the same way a waiter should not be with a mean face just because the costumer doesn't agree on wasting more money giving tips. If the costumer wants to tip, then it's his choice. It shouldn't be obliged once the waiter has a salary.
You're right. But the fact that he said "we left a mess and a tip" but left me 2 cents and rice all over the floor is just a really mean thing to do. I've gotten used to the shitty tips by a specific group of people.... But I treat everyone fair. If anyone knows me in real life, I'm not one to be mean or impolite. I've been in the food industry since I've been working and can honestly say we all need to do that once. To get a feel for how crappy the actual job is.
