Well.... I doubt u held ur prem baby on ur lap! Doctors will always recommend "Kangaroo care" n it's is a form of skin-2-skin contact between a parent n their prem baby. Da baby, wearing only a diaper, is held in an upright position against da parent's bare CHEST. The baby is held this way for 20 minutes 2 4hrs a day. Dis is called Kangaroo Care coz it's similar 2 da way a baby kangaroo is snuggled against its mother. It has many benefits 2 mother n prem baby BUT not when a prem baby is in a sever state with "tubes" all over. Any baby that is placed in an incubator with "tubes" everywhere etc.. The Neonatal nurses n Docs would NOT approve of u 2 hold ur baby especially if ur telling us she has heart n lung problems at this present time. How do I know? One unit I work in at my hospital is the neonatal unit. I'm on my 4th yr as a nurse n I'm also bout 2 get my doctorate. I'm studying da American Health Regulations and Care 2 attain all my accreditations in Australia n transfer them 2 allow me 2 work in USA and the hold da "kangaroo care" as their prem for mothers with babies in IC but not under the conditions u hav stated All you've said in this thread is bull crap.. Ur other thread said dat u couldn't take a pic coz ur baby is sensitive 2 light n ur Doc said u couldn't. Den I told u dat it was allowed den miraculously u got pics
Oops, my bad.. I meant I'm studying da American Health Regulations and Care 2 attain all my accreditations in Australia n transfer them 2 allow me 2 work in USA and they hold da "kangaroo care" as their prem for mothers...........
Ummmmm, I don't see a problem, so she says she has a baby if we don't see a picture of the baby, so be it, it's just making hatred rise in forums and I don't really care if she has a baby or not, sorry if I'm trolling but I'm in a bad mood -Zacmac
