Not sure if I'll participate, but I wanted to add my two cents. I think making separate threads for every word is not only sensible, but organized. The person who said isn't fair is, to be blunt, wrong. Stories being pushed down can be bumped, not only that, but they'd be being replaced by OTHER stories. How is it fair to consider other people's works of creativity not worthy of being on the first page? Along with that, having a separate thread for every word will make sure that people are commenting solely for those stories. They're the focus of the thread. Forcing multiple groups into one thread will cause confusion and disorganization. Besides, those hard-working writers deserve their own space to showcase their pieces. And besides, it isn't like there'll be a large number of people participating in this contest. FF doesn't have a large population to begin with. Food for thought? Hopefully many people sign up
Oh, and It may be a bit of a bother, but I think if you could find one person to post all the stories(possibly through 3rd party apps since pimd PM cuts long messages off), the competition would be purer (no chance of bias). Because even if you say you won't be bias, it all happens in our minds.
Thanks royale. And the thing about one person posting messages might work. Maybe one person from each pairing posts both entries and the writer is revealed after the winner is announced? That might be a bother though to people. I'll talk to Shannon about it.
Oh and Royale, the competitors can send their stories to the poster on the thread via PM. PM makes the message appear shorter, but when one posts it in notes or the forum, the whole thing shows up .
Sounds like a cool idea. And I agree with Royale, because that way you can be sure the writers dont get ideas from eachother.
... I'm here Shazza. Great bloody oath job. This will be a fun challenge, competitive sides come out as they say~
I love how I made sign up two weeks . Hmmmm. I wonder if my people will join in that time span . [/b] FOURTEEN PEOPLE AS OF RIGHT NOW! YAY! [/b]
