    "Angela, wait—"

I didn't get to finish. She hung up on me.

    I sighed. Maybe I can...

No. Don't do it. Angela still loves you.

No she doesn't. She never did. She had to put up with a dickhead like me.

I stopped fighting with my mind and slowly made my way downstairs. Everywhere I looked, I saw Angela. Angela, Angela, Angela.

The floorboards creaked. The air seemed to cling to me, follow me around.

I made my way into the kitchen and opened a drawer. I remembered taking the sharpest knife out and making several deep cuts.

    Then blacking out.

    •••

Hephaestus looked down on which used to be his son. How Rory managed to be the only handsome person in his family, he did not know. It may be from his mother. She was a splendid woman.

Hephaestus could see a girl. She was pretty, yes. Very pretty. She was crying over his body.

"Rory! No.. No, please! No.." She flopped down, and sobbed. She took out her phone. (Which was highly dangerous. For using a cellphone when you're a demigod, is worse than sending up a flare. It's like saying, Hey! I'm ready to be killed now! Please take my body and send it to Hades! )

    It's sad, really.

    •••

Aphrodite looked over her daughter. This one, she was special. This one was immortal, since she was born the time Aphrodite was with Ares.

She was a beauty. She was a fighter.

She was the best child Aphrodite ever had.

    Was.

Then another one came along. She was the same, yet, she seemed more, special...

This one was born when Aphrodite was with Hephaestus.

She is a beauty. She is a fighter, and she is what represents Aphrodite the most.

    Her name?

    Gesil.

  7. He can still cure him. But only if he met him.

Now, I can talk about the whole boring trip, but, it's, well, boring.

    So... Time skip?

    ~2 hours later~

When he arrived he heard a shriek. His wife?

It was a wonder how she thought that he was handsome. When he was a baby his mother, Hera, had pushed him off a cliff because he was ugly.

Yes, people thought it was Zeus, but Hera blamed it all on him. It make her seem more likable, doesn't it?

His attention was brought back to his son when he heard a cry.

    "RORY!"

He rushed inside and saw the same girl. Her red hair was up in a ponytail and her green eyes shimmered with tears.

She looked like one of Aphrodite's daughters that died...
Wait. No. The other one's hair was.. Blonde?
    Yeah, blonde.

    "Son!" Hephaestus shouted.

The girl looked at him as though he were a creep.

A creep, maybe. But a total weirdo?

    Um... Possibly.

"Et sden ekumos se! Et sden ekumos se!"

He was shimmering. Gold swirled around him and he was carried off, as if floating on the air. He was thrown on the couch, where his eyes immediately popped opened.

Hephaestus's job was done, so he fled.

    •••

The stranger fled. I didn't bother to look, I ran right over to Rory.

"Rory... Please.. Don't do that again.." I grabbed his hand.

His breathing was slow. I closed my eyes and let the tears flow.

"Angela.. I am a total jerk. I don't want to live on the earth." He whispered, and I shuddered.

    "N-no.."

    If I die...
    Let me die

  8. "N-no..."

    Suicide. Not gonna happen.

"Angela! I heard! We have to get you guys to Camp Demigod!" I saw Bianca run in.

How the fuck did she get in here?

    Oh.. Right.

"What the hell is Camp Demigod? Sounds like a ghetto summer camp," Rory said, sitting up. "And you guys know that I do NOT like ghetto places.. Or summer camps."

"Wait..." I suddenly realized something. "What do you mean by we? "

"Angela, I know you don't like her, but we have to go. Gesil is outside waiting."

"Whatever," I cursed under my breath. "Let's just go, or shit."

Rory stood up. I tried to see if he would fall, but the guy's weird words helped. I see no sign of blood, or cuts.

    Thank goodness.

The three of us stepped outside, and I saw Gesil standing there, like Bianca had said. I saw Rory go pale, and the thought struck me.

What am I supposed to do?

    •••

I saw Angela step out. I smirked when I saw Rory. We had a little.. "counseling" in a room. I put my hand on my arm and sashayed over to him. Angela moved away, and got into the car.

    "So, I heard.. Demigod, eh?"

    "The fuck is a demigod?"

"Tsk tsk... Not caught up on Greek gods... Mrs. Anderson will be quite mad."

    ~20 minutes later~

"I'm not running in the tree."

I sighed. "Well, I hope you would, but sadly, you can't. Only mortals do."

Rory gave me a glance. Shut up, I read his eyes. Not gonna happen, Bieber Boy.

"Be quiet Gesil. Angela, you have every right to be scared. A lot of demigods are afraid of running into the tree. But just do it." Bianca assured her.

Angela sighed, but she ran to the tree anyway. She didn't smack her head like I knew she wouldn't. She seemed to melt into the tree, as if the tree was not solid.

Rory went in next. I was staring at him the whole time. Yeah, totally not like a creeper.

Me and Bianca went in together, and we were blinded with light. We stepped into camp and saw Rory and Angela.

Chiron, our camp activities director, trotted up to us. And yes, I said trotted. You see, Chiron is a centaur. So I believe the correct term is trotted.

"Ah... Newcomers.. Well," he rubbed his hands. "We've got a lot of explaining to do!"

    •••

"Well, you see, Greek gods are real."

    "B-but... That's just a myth!" I stammered. "They can't be real!"

"Strange guy.. Magic.. Rory.." I heard Angela mutter. "Hephaestus."

    "I'm sorry?" Chiron leaned forward.

"This guy.. He used magic.. To save Rory.. And I think it was Hephaestus." Angela said.

"Why do you think that, my dear?"

"Because he had a hammer in his tool belt."

Chiron considered this. "Yes, yes, maybe so."

"S-sir? Gesil kept mentioning something about a demigod.. Do you know anything about...?" I asked.

"Ah, yes. Half-demon, half-god. Some people at camp here do not have demon blood. Just god blood running the through their veins."

    That assured me.

    I shifted in my seat.

Chiron seemed to notice I was uncomfortable. "Gesil!" He called. "Take these two to cabin 4!"

Gesil walked in. She had this evil grin. "My pleasure."

    •••

Gesil took us to cabin 4. She let Rory in, but then pulled me out.

"Listen, bitch. Rory's mine, and you better stay away from him."

    "Or else?"

She glared at me, and stalked away.

I entered cabin 4 and was greeted by friendly smiles. Bianca, I don't know why, was right behind me.

"Hermes, or undetermined?" One of the campers asked.

    "Undetermined." She answered.

    Everybody groaned. "Two of them?"

    "Yep."

That didn't exactly lighten the mood. I looked over at Rory and he shrugged.

    D'aw, he is so cute...

    •••
Angela is perfect. I found myself sitting next to her at the campfire.

...With Gesil on my other side.

Suddenly everybody gasped. Angela was gaping at me. She pointed up, so I looked up.
It was already fading, but I could see the flame above my head.

"It has been determined! Rory Daniel, son of Hephaestus!" Chiron called.

I don't feel like this is the time to ask him how he knew my name.

    •••

I saw the flame. What about me?

Suddenly every head was turned in my direction. I heard Gesil shriek. What? I saw Rory look at me, the same exact face he has when he kisses me.

I looked down, and saw myself wearing a white dress, my red hair was brown, I had blue eyes, and there was a sword resting on my lap.

"No! That piece of trash can't possibly be my sister!" Gesil screamed. "No! No! Look at the sword! She can't be immortal also!"

"Gesil, calm yo' tits." I heard a boy say. I turned towards him. He was really cute.

Oh, crap. I think Rory's seeing me check the guy out. Shit.

"Well, um... Angela Stautner, daughter is Ares and Aphrodite, an immortal!"
    -------------

  9. "Wait... If she's immortal... Wouldn't she be, like, 2,000 years old right now?"

Angela looked at me. What? I had to say something.

"Actually, my boy, she's only 138 years old right now."

I scooted away from her. "You're... old... "

"Not that old. Immortals, like gods, have been here for about, 2,000 years," Bianca said. "So she is actually very young."

"If you count 138 years old as young." I heard Gesil say. I tried not to laugh, but a grin spread out across my face.

Angela looked at me, even more. Then she got up and walked out.

The fire, had now turned black.

    A sickening, shade of black.

    •••

    His smile. Something about it...

Angela, stop it. Remember when he cheated on you and tried to kill you? Not gonna happen again if you don't fall for him again. Let him be with Gesil.

The voice in her head... It had sound so familiar.

"Angela," a voice said behind her. "Turn around."

Angela did as she was told. She was awarded with an image of her sister... Giselle?

"Angela," it had said again, but it seemed to be coming from the image. "Please, do not fear me. I am the ghost of Giselle Stautner."

    •••

"Angela," I said, walking out. All they eyes were fixed upon me. But I didn't care. I just want to talk to Angela.

    •Flashback•

"A man has to treat his girl right. A man has to open the door for her. Pull out her chair. Give her flowers."

"But mommy," little Rory had said. "Why do the mans have to dreet his gil right. Why not the gils?"

"You will find out when you have one honey."

I shut my eyes, tight. I understand now Mom. I understand why.

  10. OMEIJJ! BUMP! 

  11. ._. I don't have any ideas.

  12. "H-her.. Ghost.." I choked out. "H-how.."

"Bianca. Daughter of Hades. She had brought me here," she said. She sounded ancient. "Please—"

I was still really freaked out. I swung my arm through the image.

It flickered. But then it disappeared, like nothing had happened.

I was crying in hysterics now. It made me want to kill myself.

    "Angela? Is that you?"

    I looked up.

"W-wh-wha-what do you want R-r-ory?" I was weeping. It made me seem so weak. So vulnerable.

    "Angela, I just—"

    "No," I interrupted. "Y-you-you've m-made a f-f-fool o-out of m-me already. W-we're o-o-over—"

    "Angela! No—"

"Don't interrupt me when I'm in the middle of interrupting you."

    I got up, still crying.

"Angela," a voice called out. "I'll show you to our cabin."

I turned around. Standing in front of me was Gesil, and she was grinning from ear to ear. It wasn't a evil smile, but it wasn't a nice smile.

"No, Gesil. I broke up with Rory. You can have him. I'll find my way to our cabin."

    "Angela.. What?"

"Don't try to play innocent. You've been a nightmare ever since I met you. You think I'm that dumb to believe that suddenly someone can change in less than 10 minutes."

"Angela, you don't get it. I'm sorry for all the backstabbing I did behind your back, to and in front of your face. I'm sorry that I kissed Rory. I'm sorry for.. Everything."

I rubbed my forehead with my hand.

"Plus, you look totally hot right now. You look like Melissa Benoist."

"Oh, sweet baby Jesus Gesil." I tried not to laugh, but of course I did.

    She held out her hand.

    "Friends?"
