I eventually woke up from my sleep. I turned to look at the eggs but they were missing! Hmm. I wonder where they could be, as I thought to myself. I started searching around. I looked in every corner of the room. I looked under the bed and cried out in surprise. Under the bed were a couple mysterious creatures. They had four legs on which to walk upon the earth with; a long snout to breathe and smell with. And.... Wings? Why do these reptiles have wings? Surely I am mistaken. Then all of a sudden, the creatures came forward towards my way. I hesitated on their ability to walk so fast. So well. It appears that their scales shone brightly. It then hit me on what they were. Baby dragons. No wonder the village were wary. Not of me, but of the dragons. But what were the eggs doing all by themselves? Wasn't there supposed to be a mother somewhere? My head started to hurt from all those questions, so I decided to study the dragons. After looking at them a second time, I took note that one dragon had green scales and the other had red scales. I then decided to name them. But what? What do I name them? After putting much thought into the names, I decided that the green dragon would be named Solace. And the red dragon, Blaze. They seemed to like me. I told them their new names and their reaction didn't show any signs of negativity. I wasn't sure whether or not they understood me. But I put my trust in that they did. So I decided to test it. I said firmly, "Blaze, come here!" And to my surprise, the red dragon came. After my surprise was gone, I said the sane to Solace and it obeyed. But it bothered me that they didn't fly to me. Maybe they couldn't. Maybe not yet. But I decided to give them time to develop. I bought some food and fed all three of us. It seems that the day is over. It dawned on me that I didn't know where the dragons would sleep. But that wasn't a problem for them. They already nestled themselves onto the bed and already fell asleep. All I could do was smile. I then got into the bed and fell asleep with the nightmare of 'the accident' back at the lab. It didn't stop.
