Neeka entered the small den by lifting up a small strand of woven cloth dangling from a piece of wood, it must have been the door. She was welcomed by a young man, with dreadlocks and a faded stubble. "Heyyyyyyy, Duuuuuuude!" he shouted, grinning at her with yellow teeth. A foul, sour, stench of weed was all Neeka could smell. She gave him a 'Sup nod, just to prove she wasn't so strict. "'Suuuuuuuup? Wanna haaaaanng?" he spluttered. Neeka laughed, she could tell they were all clearly on drugs. The room was so full of weed that she started feeling weird herself. She had to find Phoebe and get the hell out. "I'm, I'm looking for my friend. She's called Phoebe?" coughed Neeka. The guy just looked at Neeka with his drugged up face and goofy teeth. "Duuuuuude.. You are HOT!" he laughed, staggering forwards, nearly falling ontop of her. She laughed for a second, then looked at him disapprovingly, pushing him away. Phoebe was in the corner, sitting sluggishly on a beanbag. "Phoebe! There you are!" snapped Neeka. "Neeka! My darrrliiiing. How are thee? I love yoooou." slurred Phoebe. "Right, that's it. We're going. Now." demanded Neeka. Neeka threw away Phoebe's bong and dragged her up off the bean bag, ranting on to Phoebe how she couldn't believe she had done such a stupid thing. "Byeeeeeeee." slurred Phoebe, as she was dragged out the door.
The two found another Inn and rested for the night. Before Phoebe went to bed she rolled onto her side and asked Neeka: "I'm sorry about earlier..I lost you when the parade came, and they just seemed so welcoming.." Neeka was reading and she closed her book sharply, then snuggled into her duvet. "It's ok. Well it's not ok..just because they look welcoming doesn't mean they are" she said. "...But that's the thing. They looked welcoming, and they were welcoming.." said Phoebe slowly. "Really? They looked welcoming? Listen. The point is that not all people are like that. You just got lucky." Phoebe rolled back over onto her back and up at the ceiling. Neither of them spoke. "Anyway!" sighed Neeka. "We can't change back time now, can we? Let's just forget about this ok?" she said, remembering when she was like Phoebe, always wanting to try out new things. "Good idea." yawned Phoebe. Within moments the lights were off, they were asleep, and the next day was dawning. The two set off early the next day in hope of getting of Haitz Market before it started getting busy. They could tell they were leaving the main Market, as they were now nearing towards the more dessert-type roads, with hardly no signs in sight. However, before Phoebe and Neeka set off once again, a small fragile lady lay her hands on Phoebe's shoulder. "Come with me my child." she said aloud. "I sense something very interesting for the both of you.." the old woman grinned. The old woman was clearly a fortune teller, probably bribing Neeka and Phoebe to come and see what their future may hold. She was a very wrinkly lady, who had very dark, nearly black skin. She had giant purple robes on, with small yellow imprints of the stars and the moon. And she smelt old, and of cinnamon. Phoebe felt obligated to go, so she found herself walking off with the woman, turning around to look back at Neeka as if to say sorry. Neeka looked at them both in disbelief as they both walked away. "Are you kidding me?" mumbled Neeka under her breath. She pulled a face, and followed behind Phoebe and the fortune teller.
Phoebe and the fortune teller were already sitting down in her little mysterious room. Neeka pulled back the purple door cloth, and made her way cautiously over to Phoebe, dragging up a chair and sitting next to her. The small room was located in the most random location ever. Inside the room was darkness. All the Walls were covered in black and in the centre, was a quaint black table with 4 seats around it. On the table was a dark purple velvet cloth, with a mystic ball in the middle. There was a small light shining off of it, like an aura. Black, red and purple candles also lit up the room, allowing them some sort of visibility. "Ah. You're joining us I see." smiled the lady. "Not for long. We need to make our w-" mumbled Neeka. "..To Jera? And then to Pesalah prison?" smirked the lady. Neeka and Phoebe exchanged glances, and seemed curious. Both of them had been to fortune tellers before and not one of them was as good as her. They had barely spoke and she already knew their plans. They leaned in closer to the table. "Tell us more.." whispered Phoebe. The lady looked at the young girls, her eyes gleaming. "I know you're in search of a young boy. He's staying at Pesalah prison, right? .. He's having a really rough time there.." she continued. She continued talking about Phoebe's past, about Neeka, about Kai and Thyra, and about their Journey. "How do you know about Kai and Thyra?" asked Neeka suspiciously. The old lady stared at her. "I know everything, darling." she said with a small smile. "I understand you've encountered a bad welcoming during the start of you journey. You have history with a guy? The names Koldo, I believe." the woman said, still keeping her eyes on Neeka. Phoebe turned around to look at her too, as if she wanted to know. Neeka shuffled in her seat, her palms were getting sweaty because of how many people were in such a small room. "We go back a bit. I'd prefer if it we didn't talk about that though." replied Neeka, staring back. "Your call." the old woman said, replying quickly. After a good hour and a half of talking, both Phoebe and Neeka were intrigued by how much the woman knew. "Is there anything else you would like to know?" the woman asked. "Yeah. Can you give us some advice for the last parts of our journey? Maybe give us a heads up anything?" asked Phoebe. The old lady paused, breathing in the air. An awkward silence hovered in the air. "Death. Death will come.." she said boldly. Neeka and Phoebe stared in shock. "What? To who? How? Why?" asked Phoebe. "I shouldn't really tell you anymore.. If I tell you, you could easily do something. Cheat death. I don't believe you should cheat death. When your time comes, your time will come. My only advice is to stick together for as long as you can." the woman said, a hypnotizing, mysterious look in her eyes. "Right! Come on, we should go." said Neeka, getting to her feet. Phoebe nodded almost immediately and scrambled out of the den. Now they could continue their long walk to the village of Jera.
