"What's wrong?" said Phoebe, looking shocked. "Uh. Nothing. Nothing's wrong. Potatoes.. I always forget how hot they are." lied Neeka taking a swig of her water. "So, Phoebe.. Are you done?" she asked. Phoebe glanced down at her empty plate. "Sure am. That was nice, I'm gonna go get dessert." "Hey, Phoebe. Why don't you take your dessert upstairs?" said Neeka quickly. "I'd love to, but I can't. It's the inn policy. Signs everywhere." "Screw the inn policy. We'll be out as soon as daylight breaks, nobody will know." said Neeka. "Uh.." "Go. I'll bring my dessert up in a minute too. Ok?" Phoebe gave Neeka a doubtful look, whilst Neeka ignored it. As soon as Phoebe headed up the stairs, Neeka grabbed her tray and made her way to the counter to put it back. As she was doing so, the familiar guy got up also, and followed her to the counter. He stood behind her, and grabbed her waist, leaning his head close to her face. "Well I'll be damned." he said, his voice hushed. Neeka spun around and pushed him away. "You!" she said, startled. "So you remember me then?" he grinned. Looking her up and down. "How could I forget?" she mumbled.
It was Koldo. Koldo was part of the Mabaya Clan. Mabaya, meaning Evil. Neeka was once in that clan, it was the clan where she fought with the leader, Alek, and then got banished. When she was in that clan, Koldo would strive for her attention, constantly harassing her. At the time, they both had the same amount of strength and training and so they would battle it out on who would become Alek's companion. Koldo would try his flirtatious ways with Neeka, which distracted her from her training, which put him at an advantage. Other than fighting against Alek, Koldo was also another reason why she left. Neeka moved away from him and was about to make her way up the stairs when Koldo stood infront of her, blocking her way. He stood close to her, a lot closer than she expected. He framed her face with his fingers. "You've turned into quite the beauty.." he said. Neeka pushed him away. "Koldo, what are you doing? What do you want? I haven't seen you in years, I would've thought you had moved on." she snapped. "Oh, I have. I'm Alek's companion, and when he passes, I'll eventually be the leader, the king of the place. Mabaya will be mine." he said, such force in his voice. Neeka gave a half-hearted laugh. "Well you made sure that that would happen didn't you? You were always the teachers pet." "Indeed I was. But you were always the one with the beauty.. Y'know, if you had stayed, you could be my queen... Come back to Mabaya.." "Thanks, But no thanks." Neeka said, a fake smile on her face. "Now, if you don't mind. I'm going to bed."
Story She moved around Koldo, and made her way upstairs. Just as she reached her room, Koldo grabbed her from behind her waist for the second time, embracing her into a rather extremely tight hug. He wanted her. "Koldo, just let me go please? We don't want to make a scene now. Do we?" she said, annoyed. He had moved his body close to her again, he was close to her, so close she could feel his breathe down her neck. "Do you ever regret leaving? Do you ever regret.. leaving us?" he whispered, slowly leaning in to kiss her. She felt his lips nearly touching her neck and quickly turned around to face him. They were inches away from nearly touching noses. She placed her hands around his head, as he pulled her in close. She smiled up at him and stared right into his eyes, as if she could see right through him. Neeka used to have a soft spot for Koldo, but ever since he betrayed her, and used his flirtatious ways to gain his position, she taught herself to never be fooled that way again. "Oh, hun.. Moving away from Mabaya? was the best thing I've done. I don't regret anything. I've visited a lot of places since i've left, and i never really realized what i was missing out on. I thought Mabaya was everything, but boy was i wrong. I was so wrong." Her face now full of seriousness. She paused, and leaned in even closer to his neck. Her voice was nothing but a calm whisper now. "And by the way, there never was an us, and it's quite sick to think that you, you actually thought there was. Now, I will make a promise to you right here, right now. I will never return to Mabaya, and I wish to never to see the people of Mabaya again, including you. They caused me pain, anger, upset.. And if you want to stay in a place like that, then the jokes on you. That place brings people nothing but misery. Nothing can or will ever make me go back there. Oh! And one more thing.. Goodluck being the new Mabayain leader, you're gonna need it.." She kissed him on the side of his neck, lasting for around 6 seconds and pushed him away. She walked to her room, smiling. In her head she was thanking Thyra for teaching her what she probably couldn't of done.
