  2.  'Star's ' POV 

I woke up the next morning around noon. I didn't stick to my normal routine of showering, eating and getting dressed, I took my time and stepped outside for a smoke.

Flora was still sound asleep on the neighboring bed, I grabbed my cigarettes and snuck outside onto the balcony.

I came back inside to hear my cell vibrating, I quickly and quietly ran over to answer the call knowing who it was before checking; Kevin.

"Hey, Kevin." happily whispering, it was good to hear his voice.

"Are you free? I'd like to meet up later if you can," I couldn't help but giggle.

"Yes, I'm free. Does say 3:30 sound good?" Him and I typically spent the whole day and night together, I enjoyed his company though it was mostly one nighters.

"Sounds great. I'll be there to get you. Bye, Chanel." The voice of his tone quickly changed to joy.

"See ya." I hung up and decided to shower.

  5. Still 'Star's' POV

I quickly showered, brushed my teeth and got dressed. Kevin and I have had this sort of relationship of hooking up, he never hooked up with any other girl but me so I kept that mutual.

I could slightly see that Kevin had started growing feelings for me but I didn't want to say anything about it. It was just something my brain came up with in my head, a perception. What I thought could be feelings for me could be nothing more than keeping this hooking up relationship alive and just that.

Kevin's dirty blond hair and piercing green eyes would make any girl want to have a dangerous type of relationship with him. He was attractive for sure and he knew that I thought that.

I certainly didn't want him to be hooking up with other girls nonetheless, I didn't even like to think about the possibility that he could be. I wasn't the jealous type, it wasn't in my nature or in my best intention to accuse him of that even with no proof, it looked childish. We wasn't even together as a boyfriend/girlfriend, all we did was hook up and he took me home the next day.

I came out of the bathroom to see Flora awake laying in bed with the TV on, "where are you going?" Asking groggily and like she already knew.

"With Kevin, I'll be back tomorrow," as I packed my things I anxiously glanced out of the window a few times before going down to the lobby to wait on his arrival.

  6. Hope you're feeling better! Bump! :)

  7. I still have a bit of a cough and sore throat but I'm so much better! Thanks and I'll have an update shortly !

  8. Great story! I noticed you tend to repeat "I" frequently. Try to change it up a bit by using he, she, him, her, a name, etc. Overall, great story and I hope you feel better :)

  9. Thanks, lunar! I'll try that and I'm feeling much better.

  10. Kevin's POV 

He pulled up to the hotel by the door and waited for Chanel to come gracefully walking out.

The way her red curls bounced and how the wind caught it looked astonishingly beautiful, her bright brown eyes were the first things I saw when I looked at her.

Her voice, not a British accent but of a English one nonetheless made her sound like a upper class smart woman. She spoke pronouncing every word perfect, just like silk.

Kevin wasn't always the type who imagined his self settling down, he dated girls but it was nothing long term. He stuck to hook ups mostly but Chanel, well there's something different about her that made him want to change that.

The automatic sliding doors opened, my eyes focusing on the 5'6, honey skinned woman wearing high waisted jeans that hid her belly button, a bright pink crop top, a light wash denim cropped vest and soft pink with a floral pattern trainers.

In her hand a small pink and black backpack that she placed beside her left foot in the car, "hello, Kevin," leaning over to hug me.

"Hello, Chanel. You look beautiful, different from what you usually wear, it looks well on you." Usually wearing the shortest of shorts and the lowest cut of tank tops possible this was definitely a new look on her.

"Yeah, you gotta change a bit, you know. Besides, it's just something I put together, now drive I have something to talk to you about."

This usually meant trouble, if she ever 'needed to talk it was because she could be facing trouble and needed my help to get her out of it. I always gave into her, no matter how big her situation.

  11. Typo:

    'needed to talk'

    Sorry about that.

  12. Questions for the readers, please note that this is how I get my feedback.

    1. What would you like to see happen in this story?

    2. Is it good? Room for potential? Great? Or perfect?

    3. Is there anything you would change?

    4. Should I shorten the updates or make them longer?

  14.  writers POV

Chanel sat uncomfortably in her seat, Kevin could tell that whatever she had to tell him was majorly serious. She twisted a strand of her hair with her finger and sighed, "Kevin, I done something bad and people are going to be after me."

Chanel's face grew worrisome as she confessed to Kevin, her hair tangled from the twisting she began to brush it out with her finger.

"What exactly did you do, Chanel?" Kevin gripped the wheel tight to keep from shaking his head, sometimes he thought she could be really childish in the things she done. It was almost like taking care of a toddler to him.

Chanel sighed, "I-I," she stuttered, nervous to finish her sentence, "I've murdered a man, Kevin."

"a man?!" Kevin had heard it all now, he couldn't believe what he had just heard out of Chanel's mouth. "Was you at least careful to rid the evidence?!" Slightly angry he gritted his teeth.

"I washed everything in bleach, I wore gloves, I didn't leave tracks and properly disposed the knife." Chanel whined in a high pitched voice to him, trying to get him to believe her.

"Then you're okay, right? Why do you need my help?" Kevin asking soothingly calm hoping to soothe her. He pulled into a gas station, "stay here and for the love of God don't touch anything, please."

"The homicide investigator questioned if I had noticed anything, I blatantly lied to him about where I was, what I was doing and what I saw. I only gave him my dancer name." She sighed, giving in and telling Kevin the truth before he got out to pump the gas.

"We will talk about all this at my place, for now work on a new topic to talk about." With one foot out of the car, his upper body turned to face her.

  15. Sigh, I thought I proofed better than that. 

    I mean:

    "a man?!" [\i]

  16. God, I fail.

    "a man?!"

    Please work this time.
