I woke up with Aaron wrapped around me, I didn't remember why he was in my bed or how he got there, as a matter of fact I didn't remember going to sleep at all. I got up without trying to disturb Aaron in his peaceful snooze, I gathered my clothes and two towels before heading into the bathroom to shower. Family of Aaron's was coming over for New Years and we had to dress nicely, I didn't do dresses, I did not like high heels and I certainly didn't like knowing I would be introduced as Aaron's 'girlfriend.' I wasn't much of a people person, being around large crowds sent me into anxiety, smaller crowds just freaked me out. I got that from my mom, she hated gatherings on holidays like Thanksgiving because it made her nervous. I came out out of the shower and started to reach for my toothbrush in the cup when I noticed it wasn't there. I searched in the bathroom all the possible places it could be with no luck, I crept back into the bedroom careful not to wake Aaron but he was gone. I quickly grabbed my toothbrush before running back to the bathroom, my feet pattering on the cold marble floors echoed only slightly as each one touched. I swung open the bathroom door only to be surprised.
