That's not true. You can still be friends after. She must not want to hurt you because she knows she doesn't have those feelings for you and after it's over it'll be awkward. Not being able to see you the same way afterwards would be painful for both of you, but that's life. Without pain we can't know happiness or strength or love. No one is ever safe from love. Hahaha. It could be numerous reasons, but if she doesn't feel that way about you then it's best not to pursue her. Best friends don't ruin the good thing they have, but if you think that the relationship is worth a try then what's stopping you? Love doesn't know friend or foe, it just knows the feeling it gets when with someone compatible. Two hearts tethered by a string of fate. Will she stay? Will we be happy if we don't work out?
