WIFI GOT SCREWED UP GUYS LIKE THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY. SORRY HERE'S AN UPDATE Austin's POV This was awkward. Not only did we have nothing in common with Will except sports, but we were actually getting pity looks from people as if our dates stood us up. I checked my watch, as Will and I waited for the Diana and Sophie for our double date at the diner. "So...I hear that you play football?" Will asked, trying to make conversation. The girls were late. "Yeah. Quarterback." I grinned. "Cool. I was too. You know... back in London." He said, as I checked my watch again seeing that there was only a 10 second difference. "Cool." I nodded. "Umm..uh...have you heard from the girls?" Will was looking frustrated as I was. My phone buzzed, revealing a text from Diana, "Are u at the diner? We'll b there in 5. C u " I looked up at Will who was checking his phone. "They're coming." "Good...that...that's great." I could hear a hint of sarcasm in his voice. Then I looked at him. He looked at me. A moment of deep silence passed by, like we were having the most intense staring contest. Then suddenly, the door bell rang. We both looked up to see the girls, as we fixed oursleves, feeling relieved. "Hey guys! Sorry we're late. We had a slight problem." Diana smiled, facing me. She was so beautiful, with her brown curls tucked behind her ears and her amazing eyes looking up at me. "That's alright." Will held Sophie's hand, smiling at her. "Well, let's eat!" Sophie said. I pulled out a chair for Diana and sat down on my own chair beside her, Will doing the same. "So, what have you guys been up to?" Diana asked. At the same time, Will and I spoke. "Uh, you know...other topics, like uh...baseball and uh... stuff." As Will also said, "Umm...up to? What have we been up to? Uh, yeah! Baseball and stuff." Both girls gave us weird and suspicious looks saying, "Okaaay..." "What?" I gave an innocent smile. "Nevermind." Diana laughed, waving it off as she looked at the menu. "I'll be right back. I need to go the bathroom." Will said. "Okay, don't take too long." Sophie smiled, when she saw that Will had gone she squealed, "Isn't he soo cute?! With that smile of his and that accent . Oh my, that accent!" "Yes, Sophie." Diana nodded, pretending to listen as she looked at me, whispering "Just go with the flow." I laughed, as Sophie asked, "Isn't he just so cute, Austin?"
