No, I stopped watching Naruto after season 2, actually it was based on an actual god called Erebus, the thing is largely based on this thing:

"..." "What's wrong, Apoc? Surprised at the amount of power I possess?" "No, actually... As far as I can see, you can barely keep that beast alive. It's already decomposing." Apoc was right, with each breath the creature took a little of its body faded away. "By my estimation, the creature should be dead in twenty minutes. Good thing, too. Any longer and I would've died." "SHUT UP!! THIS IS MY ULTIMATE POWER! Pure darkness taking form, at any moment you can die and not even know it! DIE APOC!" The creature put one hand over its mouth and forced it even more open, a shining red and black orb began to form around his mouth, shooting out a powerful blast from it's gaping mouth. The thing fully connected with Apoc. Smoke and rubble flew surrounded the affected area. The smoke began to clear. It still stood there, newly formed. Giant metal claws extended from forearms, spikes extended from his back, his hair formed into flowing darkness, and his eyes were as clear and white as the moon. "... You could've at least given me a warning..." said Apoc, standing self-confidently. "This'll be fun" grinned Samuel maliciously.
"So, I'm guessing this is your full power?" questioned Samuel. "This is my concentrated form. I could summon something of that size, but you'd easily topple it. This form gives me Death's power, in a more convenient form that allows me to move faster and easier. I'll admit that you are stronger than me, but like I said, you only have twenty minutes to kill me." "I'LL KILL YOU IN TEN!!" Samuel pointed at Apoc, the creature began to stomp around, attempting to crush Apoc. Apoc began to run around Erebus, stabbing at it as he ran up the creature's arm. Erebus began to form tinier arms around his own that grabbed at Apoc and threw him down to the ground. Erebus rose one of its arms and viciously punched Apoc. Apoc struggled to keep the gigantic fist from crushing him. Erebus, enraged swung his free hand at Apoc and grabbed him, squeezing him with a herculean might, crushing him. Apoc managed to release one hand and stab at the creature's thumb. In a blind fit the creature swung him across the vast oblivion, chasing him down as he flew, stopping to shoot off the same attack with both of its smiling mouths. "C'MON APOC!! IT'S ONLY BEEN FIVE MINUTES!!"
"...ha...ha... Alright.... That hurt... A lot..." panted Apoc, struggling to get up. "Alright, time to stop fooling around..." he grabbed at two spikes that extended from his back, slowly pulling them out, blood spilling out as he pulled out more. Two crooked scythes formed out of the spikes, both completely drenched in blood. Apoc broke off over half of the the handles, making short, single-handed long bladed scythes. He swung both of them in the direction of Erebus, both creating two blades of blood that grew longer with distance. Erebus clawed at the wind creating a similar attack that collided with Apoc's attack that exploded upon contact with. From the debris, Apoc came dashing at Erebus, once again he attempted to stab at Erebus' arm, this time cutting it off completely. The gigantic arm flailed continuously before dissipating into oblivion. Erebus simply looked at it's cut off arm, moving around its shoulder, smiling, grinning. It grew out an extra pair of arms from the area, then tore off its other arm, growing out another pair arms. It turned toward Apoc, grinning, making a sound that almost sounded as if it was laughing, mocking Apoc. It extended its body, so that a pair of arms now acted as legs. And now having an actual torso. "It's impossible Apoc, you can't win. Erebus is indestructible. You can't win, just accept your fate and let us end your miserable existence."
