When we got in, it was dark and cold. I shivered. He put his huge muscular arms around me, making me feel secure. I rested my head on his chest. I looked up at him, he looked down at me...we started to kiss. We made our way to the couch, still kissing. We started to make out...then suddenly there was a knock on the door. Leo groaned. "who is it?" I shouted out. "it's......."
"it's......the pizza guy!" he replied. "you ordered pizza?" I smiled to Leo and kissed him before i got up. I walked to the door and opened it. Isn't it funny how when things are going great, something dramatic has to happen.... "so that's two hawaiin piz.....EMILY?!?!" he cried in exclamation. "Dom? Right?" I smiled. "I haven't seen you since...well since you were crying....on my first day!" he smiled and leant in to hug me. I hugged him back. This strange feeling of comfort ran through me as we stood there hugging. "I've been worried about you. You haven't been in school for a long time." he whispered, still hugging me. "I was in hospital..." I replied quietly He pulled me back, still clutching my shoulders, and looking me in the eye... "you were what?!" he shouted. I looked down..."hmm long story." "well why don't we meet up tomorrow night and you can talk to me about that?" he winked. "ummm.." I really wanted to, I mean he was just a friend....even though I was extremley attracted to him..."yeah, sounds great...pick me up at 7?" i smiled. He looked into my eyes deeply. Then......
Leo came to the door, "what the he'll is taking so long babe?" he called and snatched the pizza off Dom. Dom looked hurt. He obviously knew Leo from school. He obviously knew about me and him now. Crap. As Leo threw $20 at him and walked off, I stayed there and whispered, "7pm!" and shut the door. "Leo? What was that?" I asked "what was what?" he said digging into pizza. "you didn't have to be rude." I said folding my arms. He stopped chewing..."you're right I'm sorry." he came over and wrapped his arms around me. "hey why don't you say we skip dinner and go straight to bed?" he winked at me and tensed up. I sighed, "I'm hungry." I replied. "Alright well have some pizza first then we'll go to le bedroom!" he attempted to say it in a French accent. I laughed, nearly choking on my pizza. I did love Leo..but was it enough?
The next morning I woke up..Leo had gone. There was a note on thr bedside table. [italics] gone to work be back later, love you.[italics] Leo had a weekend job at a recording studio, he loved it, and te pay was great, he was lucky. I smiled..I had the house to myself. As I was just about to get out of bed my cell phone rang. I picked it up, "hello?" I asked cautiously "Emily!!" an over excited male voice replied on the other end. "who is this?" I asked "it's me! Jacob?" I could tell he was upset I didn't still have his number. "oh...hey Jacob. Ummm, can I help you?" I said sharply. "well, you know, I heard youre out of hospital, i could be the father of you're baby..our baby. The last time I saw you we were arguing. But i regret that so much." I sat there confused. "look Jacob, you cheated on me! And with yasmin?! I mean, I can't even trust you..and Jake...the, the baby's gone. I errr lost it." I cringed waiting for an answer. But there was no answer, just a long beep at the end of the line. He had gone.
"Sh*t!" i said aloud. I sat there biting my bottom lip. I better go round there and see him. I got up and got dressed and ready, I decided to drive there. As I got in the car I suddenly remembered I had a date with Dom tonight...but it wasn't a date, he just a friend. Oh crap what would I say to Leo?! I'm sure I'd think of something. I drove on my way to Jacobs, I was going round there to talk to him about us. To say we don't have a chance now.... But of course my life is too dramatic, of course something was going to happen.....
