I'm really tired but I'll try an update anyway XD There, sat right in front of me in the restaurant was Jared, but he wasn't alone. He was with another girl, and not just any other girl, he was with Bethany. I stood in shock, unable to say anything as they carried on their conversation, then Jared leaned across the table. My eyes widened as he drew his face closer...and closer...and closer. Then bam. My heart shattered into a million pieces as he brushed his lips against hers. The worst part of it was that she didn't protest, she simply wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back. It was then that a tear finally rolled down my cheek. I had thought that I had everything, the perfect life, when in fact it was all secretly falling apart. I small sob escaped my lips and they both turned to face me. 'H-Hazza..' Jared stuttered, clearly surprised he had been caught. Bethany just smirked at me, some best friend she was. But it didn't matter anymore, nothing mattered to me as I span around on my heels and ran. I ran as fast as I could, not caring that it was dark, or that I was now completely alone or even that I had no idea where I was going. I was trying to run away from the pain inside my heart, but little did I know I was soon to encounter pain of an entirely different sort.
I had been running for a while now, I would have given up ages ago had I not been athletic. It was almost pitch black and I had no idea where I was, other that I was surrounded by tall swaying trees, 'A forrest' I thought. I took off my heels and strolled barefoot, the damp grass tickling my toes. I heard a loud crack from above and the heavens opened, it wasn't long before I was drenched and shivering, all I wanted to do now was to go home. I took out my phone and tried calling my mum. No service, great. I suddenly realised the seriousness of the situation as the wind howled through the branches of the trees, a storm was coming, and I was trapped in the midst of it. I found a large branch lay across the ground and sat on it, huge choking sobs shaking my entire body. Tears were streaming down my face, already pale from the icy cold. Then, a bush nearby rustled, I leaped up and stood in the middle of a clearing for safety. I peered at where the noise came from and saw nothing. Then a noise from the other side, nothing. Behind me the bushes rustled even louder, I was now frantically whipping my head around, terrified. I turned back to face the direction I was heading, and my heart almost stopped. I wasn't alone. oo dramatic
