The group walked out to the table and guards were already laying down bread and meal along with a few muffins. There was a pitcher of milk aswell. Tal immediately leaned over the table and grabbed two muffins in his big hand, he handed one to Luke, partially squished. ," here go luke." Luke took the muffin, "thanks Tal." The rest had already sat down and began to scarf down the food. Exspecially since Satar told them to expect a early call from jack. Shelby sat across from Damrel and kept eying him as Damrel ate. He noticed a little into it and gave her a courtesy wink. Satar slapped Damrels back nearly causing him to give up his food he was chewing, "I knew it!" Satar proclaimed softy to Damrel.
Soon jack came in, Danzo trailed right behind him. "alright, orders have arrived to finally set you all off to your appropriate commanders and base, I can't promise all of you that you'll be garrisoned with your other friends. I can't promise you much to begin with. " Jack began calling off names for a fort close to the town they were currently in. None of the groups names were called except for fletch and shelby. This was the last anyone in the group contacted them. Next was for the frontlines..
Jack said loudly, "direct orders from count yimien and General Pakar himself calls for the following for the frontlines...." Jack went on and on about firsts and who's garrisoned where then another important thing he spoke of, "Fort Gorimir our most frontal defense and our first defense against the Talimar. The only thing keeping then from our other forts. I shall now call out the special soldiers and mercenaries who shall help and fight in such a glorious fortress.."
Jack began calling off names , most were unknown to the group then he called Jodies name, then satars, followed by lictoral, rose, Damrel, Conner, Tal, luke, nikki, and Yesha. Jacks letter to keep them together had gone through to the count and they are all now assigned to this fort at the frontlines.. The group silently rejoiced at their ability to stick together but at the same time fretted what laid ahead.
