Chicka I'm far from serious it just people who don't know their place. xD you are new and there is no argument there. You also are a hypocrite and that's my reason for strongly disliking you. Making retarded-ass rps and then posting on rants saying "oh my god I know right I hate noobs who make crappy rps"
I don't make RPs I've made like one but it was a thought out one okay I'm sorry but I like RPs but I also love Writting and stories what is wrong with that??
Jennete, I'm afraid she does make a point. You are most definitely new. I have been on here for almost two years and I still don't see myself as one of the people on FF who have been here "forever". I know for a fact you are hypocritical when it comes to Roleplays and others have noticed this too. While Kira may have worded all of this a little harshly, there are no lies in her statements. One more thing. If you wish to be taken seriously on here, make sure all of your spelling and grammar are correct, even in short posts. It makes all the difference. Also, one punctuation mark (question marks and exclamation marks, and in case of ellipsis, three) is all that is necessary.
I like rps too but not the ones that are overused and have no structure. The problem is that I've read what you write, I don't particularly like what ever the hell you write -.-
Jennete, they are extremely different. Stories are written purely by one person who controls the plot and characters (unless they choose to ask readers what should happen next) while a roleplay is made by several and the plot could change rapidly. Stories are updated infrequently and often there is a moderate amount of time between one update and the next. They rely on readers to "Bump" their thread to keep it on the top page. Roleplays are updated rapidly with one post after another, meaning it is constantly on the first page. This causes havoc as stories are pushed down almost immediately, causing "bumping" from readers to be useless. This means the first page is taken over by Roleplays, while stories (which are what FF was originally intended for) are left in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th pages. This is one of the main reasons Roleplays are so disliked and why people want fewer of them. So no, Stories and Roleplays are far from similar.
What page is the last part of the story on? I'm sorry that I'm late writing but I've been fairly busy. I'll have it written tonight and posted tomorrow!
Right. I dont want to waste any more space with conversation that isn't related to the actual story. That is what PM is for, right?
Stephanie glanced at the clock over the plastic desk, it was getting late and she was just getting started. A few days ago, she realized that maybe she didn't have anything written down to help with the search and that maybe, the best thing to do would be to return to her family's old home. Stephanie wrote down the times everyone in the penthouse went to sleep for three nights, she googled how many times she'd have to switch buses, and where she should hide her bike. Everything had gone smoothly, it was time to go back. She got up from the folding chair on long legs and walking on the balls of her feet, made her way in the dark to the bathroom. Stephanie stepped into the large room, before shutting the door silently. For a long moment, she stood shivering on the cold tile in the dark with spring noises filtering in the half-open window. Her hand fumbled with the light switch when she finally turned on the light. Her twin greeted her, copying Stephanie's every move in front of her. Stephanie examined this twin, her thin figure, her reddish hair falling out of a ponytail, her hardened eyes that no longer cried for the loss of a brother. Stephanie went about cleaning up some, redoing her ponytail and changing from ratty pajamas to straight-legged jeans and a fleece. From under the sink, Stephanie grabbed her black backpack and moved towards the window. The fire escape was a five foot drop from the window, with Stephanie being 5'8 easily, it shouldn't be a problem. Still, her stomach clenched and her vision swirled as she looked past the fire escape at the ground fifty floors below. First, Stephanie drops the backpack onto the platform above the ladder. She closes her eyes for a moment, reminding herself this wasn't about her this time, it was about Jack and mom and dad and Zachary. Her hands grip the windowsill and she slowly slides herself out the window. A brief and terrifying fall later, Stephanie rests with her back against the wall of the building. She gives herself a pep talk, "Steph, you can do this, just don't look down and don't stop for any reason. This is the hardest part and it'll be over soon." With a nod, she stands up and puts on her backpack. Her clumsy with fear fingers buckle the cheat strap she never uses. <><><><><><> I set it up so whoever goes next has a bit of space to do whatever they want with it. If you want to add some action, it'd probably be rather easy to find a reason for there to be.
Right. Ignore that last request. Me and Kira shall come up with one :3 AND IT SHALL BE THE BEST TITLE IN EXISTENCE! >
