We stop in the deserted cabin for the night. Me and Fox take the first watch. "Hey Fox what did you wanna talk about earlier?" She looks at me sighs and says"Well you see the thing i...is that I...I'm oh my god i can't believe I'm about to say this. Joe I'm pregnant." I look at her with a surprised look on my face. Then i say " When did you find out" She looks at me and says "before we left this morning. Your the father Joe." " I kinda figured that much. I love you Cassidy Nicole Fox." "Oh Joe. Suddenly Renegade is heard laughing. "why don't you two get some rest. Since she is with child I'll take your watch." I nod and say "Thanks Renegade. " "no problem." Me and Fox go lay down. 6 hours later i awake to the sound of machine gun fire. I instantly spring up and look around. I see everyone but me and Fox firing out the windows. "what the hell is going on."
Irish is the first to respond. "The bloody brits got us surrounded during the night. They opened fire at sunrise. That was 15 minutes ago." "ok got it. Kinzie see what you can do to about finding us an exit. Nicks contact General.Keyes tell him we won't be making that evac. Irish get your commander on the radio and have them get reinforcements out here as soon as possible. Renegade set up med center in the kitchen. Wrecker barricade the doors. Fox you and me will help him. No one is getting in here."
Everyone goes about doing their assigned tasks. Irish contacts his superiors and finds out that General Keyes has been captured and taking prisoner. Just so happens he is at the same base we attacked the day before.
I think this news over as we start defending ourselves. Soon i see the enemy starting to fallback. "Hold your fire enemy is falling back." I yell Irish looks around and tells his men the same thing. "Joe what are we gonna do about the General. Keyes getting captured?" Askes Renegade. "I'm gonna take 3 people and we're gonna save him and any others that have been captured. Any volunteers." Wrecker, Nicks, and one of Irish's men volunteer. I look at Kinzie and Renegade and say "Keep Fox safe. She's pregnant."
"we will." They both say. "ok guys lets do this Wrecker give Kinzie your rockets. You'll only need your sidearm. Nicks leave the radio here. Ok its 1 hour to the enemy base so lets make this take 2 hours and 45 minutes." Nicks looks at me "Joe there's a short cut. See here (Nicks points at the map we have) there's a small access road here. If we stay in the woods about 50 ft away from the road and follow it we can get there in 45 minutes." " that sounds like a plan. Ok lets do that. Ok lets go. Nicks take point since its your plan."
As we prepare to leave Fox comes up to me and says "Joseph Beccue I'm pregnant with your child. You better get your ass back here alive." "Oh trust me I'm certain I will." Then me, Nicks, Wrecker, and the irish soldier who's name is Luing leave. We head for the road about 1 mile away. After jogging for 20 minutes we reach the road and follow it for another 2 miles until we once again get to the base.
I look at the base. The enemy has erected a small prison and several new barracks and depots for supplies. "Hey Wrecker got any C4 left? I got a plan." "i got four sticks left and a maybe 50 grenades i picked up off dead enemies." "aww nice. Ok here's the plan wrecker and Nicks you cause a distraction over by those depots over there be careful though don't get caught." "roger that. Ok Nicks lets do this." Wrecker and Nicks go and set up the distraction. "Ok Luing right?" "Yes sir." "ok Luing we're gonna wait until the first blast then run towards the prison camp and rescue all prisoners."
