-Dean- I was excited when Solin told me that we would be at Mara's place during the weekend. I liked being around Mara she was very interesting. As it turned out, the weekend came closer than I thought. -Solin- Being at Mara's made me afraid. I don't know why, but I have a feeling that her older brother isn't human, how well I've met vampires before, that's why I don't want it to be like this with Aaron. The vampires killed my parents and I don't want it to happen to any of my other friends or remaining family.
-Miranda- I did not know what to tell Raven, She is kind and considerate, but why won't she be near Aaron at the moment? He is her best friend, is he not ? I remember the day my parents were killed, but why did the vampires do it. •Dean• I talk to Solin to try and calm Her down but she looked at me, and then starts crying again. I don't know what to do, I can't tell Aaron or Mara. Maybe I should help Solin myself. It's just so confusing.
•Aaron• Why is she ignoring me ? We are best friends. I knew this day would come but why today ? And why now ? I've had enough questions in my mind to last me an eternity. Maybe I should talk to her. No! I cannot, it may make her see only the past.
-normal- Aaron walked towards Solin, who looked up. Aaron spoke, "Solin, I...." Solin replied quickly to Aaron before he could finish his sentance, "You! Aaron, what did you want from Me, your a vampire, you are no different than them, they killed my parents. All vampires are the same, their killers." Aaron tried to respond but didn't know what to say.
-Dean- I looked at Solin. She looked at me. She was still crying. I asked her, "what happened ?" She responded, "I told you Dean, vampires killed my parents." He asked another question, "Who were they, Who was the vampire ?" Solin hesitated before answering me, "his was, His name, is Carmine" I looked at her shocked,"I'll never make you go threw anything like that again Love"
She responded, "you don't have to Dean" I looked at her and said, "Who was Carmine ?" Solin looked back at me, "Carmine was my boyfriend..." I looked even more shocked, "He isn't anymore ?" I asked. Solin looked at me, still crying a bit but able to answer, "No not anymore"
-Flashback-Solin- It is in my mind like it was yesterday. I come home from school one day and find Carmine in the kitchen. He speaks, "Hello Solin, my precious Raven" I respond, "What are you doing her Carmine?" He says, "I came to talk to your parents about letting you be with me, but they refused so I killed them." I looked shocked, "CARMINE YOU MURDURER !" I run to my room and pack some clothes. Carmine comes up to my room, "Solin, I just want you to be with me" I look at him, "I'm Leaving and don't follow me!" I run out the door and away from Home.
-Dean- "So, That's why you don't want to be around Aaron ?" I ask Solin. She nods. I looked at her and smile, "it's okay, I love you Solin." She smiles and stops crying, "I love you too Dean"
-Solin- I look at Dean then I look at Mara, "Come on you two we can hang out tommorrow if you want" Dean looks at me, "sure." Miranda looks at me and smiles, "okay" I stop crying and look at Aaron. Aaron looks back.
-Elena's POV- I look around and smile at Lydia as well as the others. I see Aaron and smile at him. I look at Raven, my eyes shining, "Raven, I wish to join your group." Solin looks back at me, her green eyes seem To glow, "Elena you are welcome to join my group." Mara turns to look at Solin.
•Miranda• I look at Solin, my eyes have a soft amber glow about them, "Raven, can I join your group please ?" Solin looks back at me, "Sure, you can join Mara." I smile at Solin then look at Eugene. Solin looks at Dean and smiles. He looks back at her.
-Solin- I look at Dean. He looks back. I smile and say, "Dean, can we go somewhere together." He smiles, the answer was clear in his shining blue eyes, "Yes" I smile and then we both walk to my house and do homework.
-11th grade graduation-(Dean's Pov) I walk through the doors and look for Solin, and there she is in a sapphire necklace, the one I gave her from her birthday. She looks at me and smiles, then says, "Hey Dean" I smile back and say, "Hello Raven" Solin looks really beautiful in the dress, a red one which she got from Miranda at the birthday party. Solin was also wearing green highheels. (Necklace- Dress- ) I walk forward and accept the award, Solin does the same for her awards. I notice that Aaron is off with Elena and they are talking to none other than the Kyra Baswali, who in past years was well she'll always be a jerk. Then there's that sister of Kyra's, Alice Baswali, she's a bit nice but mostly takes after her sister.
-Dean- 12th grade year - I walk through the halls of Manchester High for the last year of school, with Solin by my side. We've been together for a while now and I've given her a sapphire ring, which she now wears every day. Solin is in a green dress and red high heels today. She is wearing a silver necklace, not the one Aaron gave her but the one she got from Aaron on her birthday 9 years ago now.
It's gonna even go into their adult hood, Solin is already again best friends with Aaron, but for how long will It last ?
