~On the Phone~ Jon: "Char, baby I need you!" Charity: "Calm down, breathe what's going on?" Jon: "My parents are fighting again and this time they are getting me involved.." Charity: "Did they take your car? Do you need me to come get you?" Jon: "Please, if you don't mind. It'd mean a lot to me." Charity: "I'm on my way, watch for me." ~Charity's POV~ I already started grabbing my keys before he could say yes. I knew what he needed, for this wasn't the first time. I threw on my jacket when I saw some clouds rolling in, it was going to rain. I headed for my car letting mom and Aniket know I'd be back with company shortly. ~Jon's POV~ The way my parents fight I never know if I'm going to be safe. Mom always starts crying which seems to only infuriate my father even more. I feel guilty about calling to my ex for help, but I'm too ashamed to have Lola see this side of my family. I look out my bedroom window and see Charity drive around the block, something she always did to let me know it's time to go. She did it so she wouldn't have to wait outside my house and risk us getting caught by my already mad parents. It's easier this way and much quicker for us both. It has started raining so i grab my jacket and slowly crawl out my window and down the tree, running to Charity's car. I get in the passenger seat, kiss her cheek and she starts driving but her eyes widen. ~The Car Ride~ Charity: "Why did you just do that?" Jon: "It's a habit I'm sorry.. Thanks for picking me up." Charity: "Now I figured you called me babe by accident on the phone, but did you mean to call Lola?" Jon: "No, she has the perfect family.. If she knew my life I really believe she would leave me." Charity: "Jon.. You still like me don't you? That's why you called me, and that's why you're still wearing that shell necklace i got you from florida. You havn't taken it off. So why leave me? What does she have that I don't?" Jon: -completely falls silent and stares into my lap- ~Aniket's POV~ I see my sister pull up in the driveway with someone else in the car. I thought it was weird since she don't like company let alone go out of her way for people. I watch her get out of the car and roll my eyes to see Jon, the no good piece of trash that broke my sister's heart. This isn't going to be a good dinner for him, unless he apologizes to her for all the pain he done to her. ~Legolly's POV~ As a mother I can always tell when either of my kids are upset. I looked to the direction Ani was staring in and knew instantly what was bothering him. Ani, she can make her own desicions now, she is going to have to when you leave for college, just be happy for her. I could tell I didn't really reassure him so I ask him to help me in the kitchen and leave the two kids alone. ---------------- Why did Jon leave Charity? He still likes her it's obvious, isn't it? Hope Aniket can behave himself through dinner. But can he behave while helping Legolly cook Jon's dinner?
Most likely wont have an update tomorrow. I'm getting up at 5 and have an eleven-twelve hour drive back home. So it will be a long, long day for me.
