At Homebase, Emily, Jenny and Joyce all gathered to draw a banner for my dog's 4th birthday. This might sound really cheap, and it sorta is, but we just wanna decorate a banner, I seriously don't know how that started... Hmmm... Anywho, the four of us were finishing the last touches on the banner, which, I have to tell you looks amazing, when a foot trampled the banner, ruining it, and tearing it.
I looked up. The four of us all looked up. Actually, everyone in the room looked up. There she was. Bridget. Bridget Johnson. Who is mean. That was an understatement. Who is extremely mean. Who, apparently has a crush on Joe. Bridget who hated anyone but Joe. And she standing above me. Staring at me murderously. Compared to her, I felt like a microscopic organism.
I wish Mrs. Borrego, our Homebase teacher was here. If she was here, she'd be sending Bridget to the principal's office. But she was next door talking to one of the teachers about an upcoming math test since she also teaches math. Nobody moved. No one even dared to breathe. Bridget moved closer to me, her long brown hair almost covering her pale face. She bent down, and in a voice so soft that only I could here, she said...
"You stay away from Joe, or else..." With that, she picked up our banner and threw it in the trash. Then she left. And at that time, Mrs. Borrego came in. She looked at Bridget. She smiled her innocent smile. We tried to pretend that nothing had gone wrong, and started to remake the banner. But, in my opinion, it didn't look as good as the last one. I sighed. It's for a dog anyways.
I am having stupid writers block. I only posted a short paragraph of my other story Forever and Always. Sorry!
