There is no cheating in this game. If a merc wants to join every party at last bar, that is their strategy... Besides, a lot of the clubs I've helped I'm the past would post on campus "Last Bar Need Help"... Some clubs only call mercs if they are afraid of failing, while others just want the party done quick. And I can guess the egg update will be around the same time this thread was posted... 2 1/2-3hrs from now.
PimD_C, would it be possible to tell us the least amount we need (like you already do) and the most amount out there? Not the name of the person, but just the amount that holds first place, so we can see what the gap is?
